I know dat feel for push pressing. Good PR, though relative to your bench I’m suprised it’s not a little higher (think I got 91kg push press yet my bench sucks). I really like them as an exercise. We should both give BTNPP a faur go though, pretty badass exercise.

@Jake, Thanks man. I’ve found that my vertical pressing seems to have no relation to my horizontal. Incline bench however, if that goes up then it means my flat probably has too. Definitely up on some BTNPP time in the near future!

They definitely become rather unexciting when you no longer suck at them. Feels pretty good to do a few after a hiatus. Muscular fulfillment.

I started sucking at them again after losing BW, makes no sense whatsoever. Can’t decide how I feel about their importance in getting a hyug back, but I’ve started every back session with pull-ups for a long time no with some good gainz.

Very weird that you got worse after losing bw! lol.

I definitely attribute most of my width to pullups. Used to love them, and I’m pretty good - can do 15 - 25 or so.

Just the last 4 months or so I’ve found them so boring. :frowning:

Head was not in it today. Bungled around trying to decide what to do after my top single. Nearly went heavier, but my brain was just not up for it. During my doubles I started getting angry about how weak I am lol. Still, 7 sets of 2 at 88% is not too bad.

Felt strong. Very tight in my lower abs though.

Welcome to the club. It’s been over a year since I had fun doing pullups. Wait til you can get 40, you think you know boring now lol? I usually just do them until they stop feeling “easy” anywhere from 20-30. The boredom is mostly from them being too easy. Weighted variations can fix that.
