Maybe a bit off topic, but I took a class in Sociology last year. The teacher asked about female vs. male athletes. I mentioned that male athletics overwhelmingly tended to be better than females. The teacher and a lot of students (even guys) got on me for that, saying how they are equal and that I am sexist. I didn’t say anything distasteful at all. I used to the example of NBA vs WNBA, and nearly everyone except me agreed that women in the WNBA are as good as guys in the NBA.
Is this really what it’s coming to? I’m not sexist in that I don’t think women are dirt, but there are some obvious differences that we shouldn’t blind ourselves to. By the way, I am well aware that there are girls that are very athletic.
A friend of mine who is a bus driver and one of his co-workers have had racism complaints…from people of their own race
My friend who’s 30ish was observing typical black teenage wannabe thugs(I say wannabe because I live in the suburbs). He muttered under his breath “why do we keep messing things up” and some jackass filed a complaint. I’m not even sure the person who complained was black themselves.
His co-worker who’s of Indian descent from Trinidad was talking with a passenger of similar ethnicity and nationality; he asked herif she was from Trinidad as well. She then filed a complaint that he was “profiling” her.

Then why do they split the teams into men and women?
They should make the games unisex and have men and women compete together, and see who the stronger sex is athletically.
I’m anything but sexist, but people that naive really piss me off. Men have always genetically been the physically dominant sex, not so?

I find it disappointing that you chose to reference your flaming comments, but have not referenced the supposed original purpose of your post and the explanation I gave.
As I said previously, I have no interest in retaliating, I don’t know who you are, why you have any feelings for me, and feel that you have made no real contribution. Maybe you will respond to this maybe you won’t, I can’t respond with anything stronger than ‘meh’, anything else would be a lie.

I once had the same argument, used the same comparison, and received an identical result with a small group of college classmates. I have to think the guys were just trying to score points with the ladies, but the females in the class were heatedly arguing that the WNBA teams are just as good…I thought I was losing my frickin mind, a good highschool boys team would stomp all over their champ, let alone an NBA team.
One of these girls who was on our college team then challenged me to a game of 1 on 1 which I won by sticking my ass out and posting her up for every point, then she started crying…not to be mean, but I was like,“I didn’t even play basketball in highschool.”
For the record I thought I had a chance to hook up with a couple of the girls in that group, I never did so in the end, I guess winning the argument wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.
