I’ve gotta say, one could hardly blame the Mexicans for not wanting to live under the rule of Washington if they were to establish this “Aztlan.” Of course, the mexican elites don’t want that. They’re making money hand over fist with the remittances sent back from the US. CArlos Slim, for example, controls international telephone services in Mexico, so when Mexicans talk to their relatives in the US, he gets their money.
