Does TRT work as birth control?
Here’s an interesting article on an app that helps couples get pregnant, if anyone is trying (unsuccessfully)

It lowers your sperm count ultra low or even makes you (temporarily) infertile.
Get your sperm count checked while on TRT to confirm of course. You can do this yourself with a simple microscope that can be purchased off Amazon for ~ $150.
Edit: it’s possible for trt to make you permanently sterile (though not common). You’ll need to go off trt if you want to procreate

I agree with you, particularly that the male should be able to prevent the abortion of his unborn child if that’s his belief system. I’m pro-choice, but both partners should agree. Anything less is morally reprehensible to me.
But wouldn’t this ultimately lead to the gov’t forcing a woman to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term? That’s the opposite of pro-choice.
However, this is all a known danger, so men should be as wary today as women were in the 50s when deciding to round the final base. Could be costly! Could be long term! So don’t pick women to have sex with whom you don’t trust or like or from whose kitchens you wouldn’t accept a drink of water because you’re repulsed by their low standards.
Agree %100. Women have always borne the risks of pregnancy and child-rearing. Now that men - by law - have some skin in the game, then need to start behaving more like women have in the past and become more selective about their partners.
Reason number 502 to not have sex with some skank ho you meet at a bar.

But yes, once there’s a pregnancy guys are no longer the decision maker. Which is why wearing condoms no matter what she says is so important. Your sperm are worth $250K over the next 18 years. Protect those little fuckers.

Condoms suck.
You know what else sucks? Unwanted pregnancies.
You know what doesn’t suck? The peace of mind that comes with knowing that I’m taking responsibility for my reproductive actions and my fiscal well-being isn’t in the hands of a woman who I may or may not want to ever see again.

That’s actually happened. I remember the case from law school.

I’ve fathered 4 daughters on TRT (with HCG).

Jew Hulk mode.
I wonder how often it actually happens that the guy wants the child and the girl doesn’t (Yes. I am sure every guy on here knows AT LEAST 3 very good friends who has suffered through this!).
I agree that it’s unfair that a woman can decide to have a child against the man’s wishes and he is liable for child support. However, as previously stated, wrap yo’ dick up. The argument about a guy having a say in an abortoin always comes across as a bunch of dudes who are upset that they can’t do the same thing to women. It has less to do about the reality of becoming a parent and more about “How come she gets to do it and I can’t?! Harumph!”
I’ve been with my fair share of guys and have used damned near every type of birth control at some point or another. I have even risked it a few times on pulling out or the rhythm method. However, the times I rolled the dice, it was with a person I was in a relationship with and we had already discussed our views on abortion should such a thing occur. That is just fucking common sense.
What drives me nuts is when a girl gets knocked up by her boyfriend and he leaves her, the prevailing sentiment is that she should have known better than to open her legs for any scumbag and if she can’t make better decisions she gets what she deserves. Meanwhile, a guy knocks up a psycho bitch who is out to ruin his life and it is the god damned system’s fault for stacking the deck against him and not the fact that he should have known better than to stick his cock into a psycho bitch without protection.
OP: As tired and worn out as this topic is, the boards have been a little slow lately and I have actually had to do work to pass the time. Thanks for this topic ![]()

Yes, this mostly amounts to men complaining about how this isn’t fair. But the meat of that argument is much deeper.
Sexual equality doesn’t really make sense as a concept. Reproduction is a big deal and can’t really be equalized by something else. Traditional patriarchy accepts this as a baseline. In some areas men have advantages and in others they have responsibilities. Women similarly but in different areas. Whether or not this is “fair” or equal doesn’t even make sense as a question. You might as well ask if a meter is equal to a kilogram.
Feminism, in the name of equality, has pushed for the elimination of male advantages and female responsibilities. Little attention is paid to the other half of the patriarchy.
In light of obviously unequal situations such as the one described in this thread, many suggest dismantling the other half of the patriarchy, the part that, for instance, requires men to take care of their children and the women that they get pregnant. Sometimes this may be an earnest call for an attempt at a truly equal society, but often it’s a rhetorical device to point out that sexual equality is neither desirable nor possible.

This is the crux of the matter. The risks are known. If you ignore them, you must be prepared to deal with the life-changing consequences.
FTR, I have a 13 year-old son conceived in similar circumstances.

Let’s point out he needed a fertility drug (HCG) in order to pull it off. TRT CAN cause reproductive complications.

This is a great fucking post! Thank you.
I wish more discourse on these types of subjects could be expressed in such a way as to negate blame, focus on a problem, and open the lines of communication. It is far too often that BOTH sides try to drown each other out by parading out the absolute worst examples of each side.
I view myself as a feminist, but 100% sympathize with the plight of men in many of these situations. For as cynical as I am, I always hold onto this thread of hope in the goodness of people; that they will act with their conscience when the time comes. Unfortunately, there are precious few times I have actually seen this belief triumph. It truly disgusts me to see the way some women abuse the laws that were put in place to help us for their own personal gain.
In the end, I don’t know what the solution should be, but I truly appreciate your candor on the subject. As a peace offering, please enjoy this scene from Life of Brian ![]()

I’m not a lawyer, so I’m going to go out on a limb here, if you convince the girl you are wearing a condom and then remove it without her knowledge and consent then you are treading on very thin ice and could face a rape charge. And that’s some serious shit right there. Obviously this depends upon the jurisdiction, but I suspect this would be the case in NSW.
Didn’t Julian Assange try this shit in Sweden? He’s not done too well since.
I’m thinking keeping the skin on and in good nick is a damn fine idea.
And it shows the lady some respect as well.

A white knight huh? I respect women so far as they are worthy of respect as individuals. I’ve never impregnated a woman or passed on a disease or anything.

There are other ways to prevent unwanted pregnancies as I’m sure you’re aware. And although I’ve extricated myself quickly on occasion I’ve never planned a one night stand. Anyway, I’m just saying condoms suck. It’s like wearing a damn raincoat on your dick.

To be fair dude if you pretend to have a condom on then fuck someone you have removed their ability to consent, which is sexual assault. That is not just some slick move, it is forcing someone to take a huge risk of unprotected sex, without their consent.
