I’ve read a lot stuff about Avatar after seeing it with my girl. And of all the crap I’ve read this man finally got it right.
3 minutes in and I’ve laughed out loud 6 times.
if his voice was more normal this would’ve been a lot funnier
Best review I have watched ever.
Thank you for posting this!
HAHAHA NAIVE
Without even clicking I know who it is!
He also reviewed Star wars Episode 1 and was just as funny.
He sounds like Mike Mentzer now that I think about it.
That was just fantastic.
I honestly got really bored during the middle of the movie and fell asleep. When it was over, I walked outside into the grey, cold, slushy reality that is the midwest.

Yeah I just saw those reviews too… funny as hell
I just clicked on youtube to see if it was redlettermedia and it is! I can’t wait to listen to this at home.

He also goes into great detail about how Star Trek Generations is “the stupidest movie ever made”.
ROFLMFAO “doesn’t she have the kind of lips that make you want to put duct tape…” LOLOLOL.
Anyway, solid review. I haven’t seen it yet, but clearly Avatar (like most major hollywood movies these days) is clearly formulaic. Will Smith built a helluva career painstakingly following the formulaic blueprint (MIB for one). Seems you probably could not get the funding for a blockbuster these days without following the formulaic blueprint. They don’t think you’re smart enough to pay good money to see a substantive story…and they’re right ![]()

Yes.
Amazing!
He sounds like Buffalo Bill… “The Navi are like the Blue Man group meets black people.” That was great.
“A 20 minutes review, who can sit through that?”
10 minutes later I’m still going strong. Its pretty much all the usual complaints, but the dude is pretty dang funny.
Watched all 7 parts of the Phantom Menace review, this guy is great. Much rather watch this than, say, Film 2010 with Jonathan Ross.

I think his voice is what makes it funny. He has a unique, somewhat bored sounding voice. The voice and the delivery is what makes this funny, imo.

x2
His critiques are pretty ridiculous though.
Pretty much summed up my feelings.
Fun to watch.
Shitty when judged on anything but visuals.
reminds me I haven’t watched Zero Punctuation for a while.
