A Friend Gave me Some Novedex XT

In return from helping a friend of mine set up a powerlifting template, he gave me a bunch of supplements. One of them was Novedex XT. I’ve never taken it and even the guy who gave it to me has never tried it. I’ve done some research on line, and I’m still not sure I’m comfortable taking it. I’m a drug free lifter, so I really don’t have any need for an anti-aromatase. I’m probably just going to get rid of it, but if anyone has any info or links to thorough articles on this particular supp and it’s side effects/results, I’d love to hear it. Thanks…

Novedex XT is not the same as Nolvadex (Tamoxifen Citrate). You would still be considered a drug free lifter. It is a supplement that had a very similar name to a drug.

Right. But as I understood it, as an anti-aromatase, it’s supposed to be useful for post-cycle lifters to help restore natural test production (for lack of a more educated explanation). I’m just questioning the usefullness for myself. I also heard a rumor that Novedex has caused a positive test for Boldenone in some athletes. No idea if that’s true or not.

I have no idea how this could ever happen. Impossible.

Hey, I’m sure you know more about it than I do. I’ll be the first to admit my lack of education in this area. In fact, I’d never even heard of Boldenone until I read this. Here’s the link where I read the Boldenone claim. MMA Archives - TheMix.net

I will also admit that I have not used the supplement Novedex XT. Perhaps someone else here can vouch for its effectiveness. I just wanted to make clear the difference from the drug and the supplement.

Absolutely. And like I said, I’m not very educated on it at all, and I really don’t know how valid that article is in the first place. I appreciate the input.

“Anti aromatase” is not an accurate term. There is a class of drugs called aromatase inhibitors but this isn’t even close to one. Furthermore, aromatase inhibitors are not used post steroid cycles to restore natural T production.

Novedex is a bullshit supplement. It has ATD in it. It causes false positives when T levels are checked. The test thinks the substance causes the test to show higher T levels than actually exist.

I have no idea if it causes positive drug tests. I see no point in using it though. And Rich Gaspari should have a bottle of it shoved up his ass for naming it that and causing all the confusion that has come from it.

True

And any company that has the word “Clen” “drol” or “bol” in their names.

Thanks. Sounds like it’s not worth taking. Glad I didn’t pay for it!

as a rule of thumb, if you fuck all about something, don’t take it.
