Hey thanks man. I guess they’re okay, kind of sucks when you know you’re capable of more though (but that’s how it goes.)

Good eye - I was planning on switching over to a more MD-style leg day if this next one didn’t go well. The knee is feeling a lot better (it’s not a chronic issue, but it just pops up every now again when squatting frequently) so hopefully that’ll be fine. Unfortunately, there’s absolutely no machine in the world that destroys my body (in the uncool way) like the Hack Squat my gym has. It doesn’t have a power squat machine, which I love. :frowning: We’ll see how it goes on Monday and reassess from there!

On the subject of sides: Insomnia is becoming prevalent, and perhaps nighttime sweats too (but I’ll need a few more days with more controlled variables in order to determine this fully,) sweating is out of control in general and I can definitely tell that for some reason my cardio capacity has taken a bit of a hit, particularly when lifting. Nothing that I can’t handle. For the time being.

Ate very on-point and somewhat small yesterday. Home alone and no Thanksgiving. :*( Not too upset to be honest.

So… sometimes interesting things happen. This would be one of those times, 2 weeks into this bad boy and I’m going to follow the advice of some knowledgable fellows (truly) and switch my compound ratio to 2:1 and run 700/350. I’m going to run the ‘base’ compound higher here, because I know it works well for me and really liked it at 500. Keeping the other, new and exotic one a little lower for now until I know it’s something I can handle well.

Side note, sweating is getting out of control and I notice it has an odd smell to it, almost ammonia-ey. I’m to understand that that can come from one of the compound use -or- from protein being used as a primary fuel source, which I can almost guarantee is not the issue here. So, I’m going to bump my AI up to .75 EOD and see how it goes from there.

Went solo dolo today - contraire to my plans. I had a few “overlapping” exercises from my heavy day. I don’t know, I’m just trying to figure out good volumes to balance between 2x weekly and what exercises are better suited for what days. Today was balls-to-the-wall fast, I mean it took like 30-40 minutes or so. Sweaty sweaty.

Well, to make this post have some kind of redeeming quality here’s an AM, completely relaxed pic update. 240 @ 5’11". Cool.

So today was just a slop fest. I have feels all over the place from crap that happened yesterday. I can’t help it. I’m sure as my E starts getting back into check I’ll be able to push through without much issues.

Plus, my shoulder felt absolutely miserable today when I tried to do incline DB presses. I could only get the 100s for like 10, couldn’t even get the 110s into position and everything was just off. I won’t really even bother writing anything down because it was just that meh. I may start using lightish incline barbell benching, it felt okay today. But, anyway, I’m hoping today is just one of those “off days” and that by the time my Friday workout rolls around, my head will start to have cleared some and I can stop being such an emo douche.

Well, this log had certainly morphed into a darker territory over the last week or so. Some things that have come to light,

1.) This last weekend I accidentally drank a lot of water that had a boil advisor for it (I was not aware.) It’s now Thursday and I’m just now rebounding I think.

2.) Yesterday I also started to grasp how much the T-God has been completely screwing with my mentality. No, weird relationship stuff didn’t help but now that that’s over I can be much more objective and cognizant of my actions and how I’m responding to various things. I’m even going to send an apology to the girl today (not expecting anything from it) just to apologize for only being able to offer and extremely paranoid, crazy and irrational version of myself. But yeah, the warnings about the compound are real. On that note —

3.) Sounds like my estrogen has been WAAAAY too low, and that’s been my other big thing. Talking with some experienced fellas last night, I chimed in that these were the exact symptoms I was experiencing (which I actually found from someone else online, but every one checks out:)

  • Zero Libido
  • Clicking and achy joints
  • Obsessive thoughts at times (about random and trivial things)
  • Shrinkage of the junk. Loss of a good 2 inches when soft and general inability to get hard past 60-70% tops. Can’t come close busting.
  • Unable to get a good pump in the gym
  • Awful insomnia
  • Crazy mood swings and mild depression at times
  • Foggy head

And the guys seemed to think this could be a pretty clear sign of too low of E. I’m dropping it for now, and going to see how that combined with the added (doubled) T dose does for me coming up here. I do absolutely have Nlv on hand, just in case.

So, that being said, I called in sick yesterday, slept a lot intermittently and woke up at like 2 am… stomach was holding up so I figured I might as well truck into the gym and give 'er a go… I know I’m supposed to be on a fixed split but gosh, I sure do better when going more instinctively. I fucking destroyed that workout. Pump wasn’t quite as good as it’ll be but it hurt. Rear delts were insane. Really feel excellent today.

Side note - I’m going to take a little time to make sure both of my heads are 100% right, but I think I just need to manwhore when I get back to where I need to be. There’s this exotic thing in my gym who I share frequent eye contact and smiles with and when I’m right I am going to make it a point to absolutely destroy her.

Good day.

Ahh, this old gem. Went home pretty late yesterday still not feeling great. Plus somehow last night, doing something completely innocuous, I fucking tweaked my neck or something so that’s rotten and annoying. Took some kind of pain killer (RIP liver) and will truck through the light arm day to see how it goes.

Depending on how the libido / body / everything is doing, I could take the whole weekend off. On the plus side, and this sounds so stupid - I did get a LITTLE bit of a boner last night/early this morning. fml Talking with a buddy at work about it and he told me to just to stick to the plan, let the estrogen come back, be patient and don’t sweat tiny things. Especially on the compounds I am. Ok.

Today, despite having just an awful-feeling neck, went well. I couldn’t push intensity too hard because of it, and should had probably skipped altogether. I may have to take this whole weekend off from the gym and let my brain and particularly body recover.

F.M.L. Went in and hit legs today - 6th day in a row now. Starting to feel otherwordly again and I’m loving it. Neck was fucked as fucking fuck but I took two Aleve and went for it.

Planned on keeping weights pretty light to avoid hurting the neck any further - and it was terrific. My pumps are REALLY starting to return again. Mind-numbing pain is close to accurate. Legs fell asleep on the leg press.

Saw my old boss and owner of the gym at the gym today. He was actually squatting next to me, but he’s a PL guy. So I went ahead and did my thing, and after my first heavy set he says, “So, are you intentionally trying to squat 6 inches below parallel?” Haha, nice. Reps were clean and great today. Yes. Nips were puffy today so I’m going to monitor that closely. Especially since in the coming week or so my body will really start feeling the effects of the increased amount.

On a terrific note, my arms were absolutely pumped beyond fucking belief. I’ve never had this, but at one point both my ear buds fell out, and I definitely had to twist each side of my body in a way because my arms were too pumped to reach my ears, haha. Seriously awesome.

Today was solid. I unfortunately had to ditch the incline DB presses because those are what kept really re-aggravating my shoulder. Too bad. I haven’t actually done a standard incline BB press in… honestly, 3 years? But today hopped right in and it felt pretty good. I obviously didn’t go heavy but once my body adapts to the movement a bit I see the poundages rising a fair bit. That’s good. Not too bothersome on the shoulder overall, AT ALL, today.

Still really tentative about some things related to my body. Keeping E in check vs what’s going on with my libido. A majority of the people giving me advice are saying to avoid Prm for now, but ugh. I feel great, other than my damn sex drive. And that definitely can’t be estrogen-related at this point.

Warmed up a bunch, squatted semi-heavy, bailed. Did pitiful cardio. Body wasn’t whispering… but rather yelling at me to fuck right off. Forearms could barely handle the load on the squats. Just meh. 11 days in a row really is too much. Noted.

Well, felt great today. Went in and hit heavy arms. Was going to do chest + shoulders but my neck tweak is still hanging around and I didn’t want to push it with that. Solid day. Definitely made this one “heavy.”) (Other than the massive fucking snowstorms we’ve had over the last week, fml.)

Today going in to the gym I was casually asked how I was doing (by a girl at the front desk,) told her “Baby it’s cold outside.” Out of nowhere this girl who was standing nearby… sexy as all fuck - looked a lot like Kaelin Tuell (tuell_time on IG iirc) except not quite as shredded and manly = i.e. HOTTER - responded with a line from the song and probably thought I wasn’t going to go with it. She noticed my Packers hoodie. SHE LIVES IN GREEN BAY AND IS A FUCKING PACKERS REP. 25 (my age.) Also, was squatting today, 175 for multiple awesome, below-parallel sets. We bullshitted for 40 minutes during cardio. What’s the issue though? Just fucking started dating some guy like three weeks ago. She was even home (she’s from the area) during Thanksgiving when I was talking to a different girl and remembered me. Told me when she was home the last time she was single. FMLFMLFMLFML
