A Cry for Help (with Bloodwork)

I feel the bulk of the issues seen here are likely Liver related. Also check out the insane high t3. If his thyroid levels are like that and the shbg is low at this testing point then we know there’s likely liver toxicity. Work to improve Liver. Hot lemon water, TUDCA, and curcumin help

holy shit, I didn’t see that, I’m really exhausted (working hard), concentration ability is slightly inhibited

@rayge What’s your resting HR, how do you feel in general? If there’s liver toxicity or liver damage it’s likely related to the superdrol… or not, but superdrol is very toxic, it’s c17AA-dimethylation makes it EXTREMELY resistant to breakdown by the liver (and makes it far more anabolic than drostanolone with reduced androgenicity) I can go into more detail tommorow if you want however I’m far too tired to give a full explanation tomorrow.

Guys, with all due respect…did you read the last couple paragraphs in my initial post? I have been suggesting that this is liver related for me. I did an ultrasound a year and a half ago and the doc said my liver is fatty.

Also, my SHBG, IGf 1 are low and I suspect low TBG. These are all proteins produced by the liver. It seems like when my estrogen goes high, these proteins seem to go lower.

The cholesterol also has to do with the liver yea I agree 100%

I’ll be purchasing Liv52, Berberine, and milk thistle today. I’ll look into tudca also.

What does hot lemon water do?

Resting heart rate has climbed over the last few months. I was below 70 a couple months back and now I’m easily in the high 80s. I’m all ears I am open for whatever you have for me.

Also, I mentioned I am on thyroid medications bro. My meds are too high I guess. I’m bringing them down already. Once again, I see no difference from thyroids meds either. TBG is a protein that binds thyroid and is created by the liver and its function is similar to SHBG…therefore that further substantiates the liver theory.

Also, I hate to add this but for years now (10+) I have had very bad body odor when I sweat. I looked into this and it seems liver-related also.

I have fatty liver disease to. Non alcoholic.
When I go over 190 pounds my liver enzymes get elevated. Am 184 pounds now and on trt. Liver enzymes perfect. Shbg is mid 30s. When my liver enzymes were elevated shbg was mid 20s. Not sure if there is a correlation as there are many factors.

Thanks for the input Charlie. Could also have to do with your diet and carbohydrate intake I think. Generally the higher carb intake, the lower the SHBG. I want to get tested for diabetes or insulin resistance and I think the answer is to go low carb. We’ll see. Take care of your liver! I just ordered Liv52, Milk Thistle, Berberine, and Alpha Lipoic Acid. I’ll start them as soon as I get them. I’m cutting all sugar now and doing cardio 4-5x a week.

@physioLojik Do you believe that SHBG has no value when fine tuning someone’s TRT? I always thought that it would at least give you an idea if you needed MORE test to spill over the top.

I am DEFINITELY guilty of telling people I am high SHBG… Compared to someone who consistently scores in the 20’s or lower. I would say that I am usually on the “higher” side, being in the 40-50 range. Is this incorrect?

This is near and dear to me, since I have always been under the impression that SHBG is a fairly necessary number to know.

EDIT: Also, for LOW shbg guys that need to inject more frequently…

I’m now monitoring my blood sugar as I believe I might be pre-diabetic. From what I’ve seen so far, it doesn’t rise crazy high after meals but it stays elevated for a long period.
For example, last night I had a BG of 108 about 2 hours after a meal, then 100 3 hours after the meal. This morning, about 12 hours later my BG only went down to 92. I thought it would go down lower than this in that length of time without food.
Any thoughts?

My HgA1C came back at 5.2% which the prediabetic range is something like 5.7-6.4% so that’s great! I’m dealing with a fatty liver and insulin resistance which is driving down SHBG and probably thyroid. At least I know whats going on though! I’ll be doing a modified ketogenic diet that allows for carb refeeds after every workout to improve my insulin resistance and I’ve been hitting the cardio to help get my cholesterol in check. I do already see my skin becoming a little oily though, that hasn’t happened in years so it seems like my liver supps and diet modifications are already making a difference! I’m very excited and will continue to update.
