The kid steps up and shows who he is and some people just have to make degrading remarks. The kid deserves nothing but praise and free BJJ lessons for life.
I hope the dog is okay. Kudos to the kid though, now his friend owes him for life.
Ahh how I remember wrestling with my pitbull(it was half pit half something else) at that age. Tho I do respect this kid for protecting his friends.
That nine-year-old has more balls than probably 75% of the adult men I know. Most of them would have tried to outrun the dog, leaving their friends to fend for themselves.

Which dog? The one that was attacked or the pitbull?

Yeah I know. I think I am Craig Biggio.
Kid looks like the young boy version of forrest gump. Anyways, that is either really really stupid lucky, or that kid has balls the size of cantelopes. He will also get to have 7 hot girlfriends at a time when he gets older so he can sleep with one of them each day of the week.
For the guy who said he hopes the dog is allright, come on. If a pit has been brought up the wrong way and is running around attacking children and other dogs, i’m sorry but it is effectively a ticking bomb.
Unless a dog gets serious rehabilitation, it will continue to do those things. If the 9 year old had chocked the dog to death it would have been ok. After all, he didn’t know when help would arrive, and if the dog started bucking hard he could have gotten loose and really messed the kid up.

Held on to the choke for 20 minutes? Reminds me of Babalu against David Heath.
“That dog has to learn respect. It deserved that. It called me ‘motherfucker’.”
good for that kid. Like jaypierce said most adults would not have acted in that situation.

I think he was very likely talking about the chihuahua, not the pit
