8000 Calories a Day

Also, saying she is zero percent body fat is stupid IMO. She may be extremely anorexic… to the extreme… lol…

but if you have 0% body fat you die… so…

I also have some big doubts that she actually eats 8,000 calories a day. I don’t care what the news article says… I wanna see a food log.

Even with hyperthyroidism… 8,000 calories would still be a bit much…
Well, the miracle is that she’s NOT dead at 0% bodyfat. Some of you are really talking out of your asses.

You cannot live and be a TRUE 0% bodyfat. Even brain function cannot happen at 0% bodyfat.

Just to clear it up: Not trying to look like an ass. The girl has a terrible condition and that’s nothing to make fun of.

I was just pointing out the exaggerations by the media.

You cannot live at 0% bodyfat.

And I’d just like to see what her 8,000 calories a day would look like because 8,000 calories is alot for anybody … including people with weird disorders/diseases like hyperthyroidism and whatever this girl has…

Dude, she’s the exception to the rule. Could be a mutation, and has other mechanisms her body managed. Or she might consume enough standing lipids to keep brain function and everything working alright.

 1. Whats her normal temperature? Is it superhigh because all the food is being burned off for heat? Unlikely because of her lack of muscle mass, but whatever.

 2. Does she spend all day pooping? Because at 8000 calories and nowhere on her body for it to be stored, the food would just have to go through and come out the other end.

 3. When she does poop, is it fully digested and in proper poop form/composition, or is it still mostly food because her body doesn’t actually digest what she’s putting into it?

The calories obviously have to go somewhere. She doesn’t have a lot of muscle mass so (with my lack of medical knowledge) I don’t know how she could have a high metabolism. Meaning, the food isn’t being used for energy or heat production. So where would all the calories go, if they’re not being used or stored? Out the other end, probably not very well digested, would be my assumption.

So why isn’t food being digested? Maybe thats a good place to start? Maybe she needs some Betaine

Anyone agree/disagree?
Haha, yes, she needs a stomach acid protocol to make sure she’s digesting her nutrients!

Haha. I never thought of that. face palm (the standing lipids)

FWIW, you cannot live without any fat on your body, because you need it for “unimportant” stuff like keeping your brain working ( example: Myelin - Wikipedia ). But I guess it’s pretty easy to understand that whoever wrote this was reffering to adipose tissue.

To stay on topic, she needs:

 1. Squats and milk;
 2. Steaks;
 3. Burgers.

You also need water and food to stay alive. How about this Indian guy who claims he hasn’t eaten anything since he was 8 years old? When they actually examined him in the hospital for weeks on end, he didn’t drink or eat either and was fine.
Tuaregs survive on 100ml of water a day, we would literally DIE if we kept this up for more than a couple days.

Humans are a fucking weird species and sometimes they DO defy science and logic, that’s just how it is.

Come on people, she obviously has more than 0% body fat.

To think otherwise is ridiculous.

While she might have very little subcutaneous fat, she will also have some visceral fat.

And, there is no test to prove this other than an autopsy. That is the only 100% accurate way to assess body fat, any test, will have some degree of error, some more than others.

Phospholipids make up the membranes of every cell.
Phospholipids are fats.
Organisms with cells have fats.

Therefore, this lady must have fats, but it is a very low amount.

Zombie. The calories required to maintain animated flesh can be quite high. Especially if one chooses to not eat a human based diet, for whatever reason. NTTAWWT

Likely body is shedding glucose, just dumping it.

How can doctors not figure out what is wrong. check her urine, blood sugar levels, sweat, use PET scans and such to map glucose usage using radioactively labeled glucose substances with attached chlorine or however it is they stop its utilization by cells at the mid point.

They have been doing glucose usage rate scans for literally years to diagnose cancer…

I, ME, could literally make some calls and get it done. And Im a 20 something shit head who just happens to have gone to a college and knows a few profs who would likely be interested.

DNP for example is a metabolic poison, dumps energy stores, doesn’t burn them, just tells the body to eject as waste.

her body is likely malfunctioning somewhere in the energy usage chain for the cells.

This is not something useful to study.

We already have drugs that cause the body to malfunction and destroy itself, and only the very stupid utilize them as they are quite literally poisons.

for you (and everyone here), there isn’t

This, essentially. I’m rather curious what kinds of tests they were running. These days you can pinpoint a lot of metabolic mutations right on the dot.

I’m also curious how she’s alive, often times when there are severe defects in metabolism or other essential pathways it’s simply embryonic lethal and the fetus fails to thrive.

There’s still shit that really does baffle the medical community, but there’s not that much.

I’d hit it

There is actually quite a bit of shit about the human body we still know little about. I’m sure there is a lot more we don’t even know we know little about. Be sure to hold on to your textbooks and review them in a few decades.

We are far from having it all figured out and, while knowing nothing about the doctors involved in studying this chick, I am very skeptical of a 20-something guy on the internet having a better understanding of what is wrong with this lady than the credentialed people examining her.

Without having seen any documentation of the tests they have performed or personally examining the lady, claiming that it is an easy diagnosis is absurd.
