What’s your training background that led to the body weight work?
Farm work; college wrestling briefly until grades suffered; 20+ yr woodworking hobby; generally, life.
Started reasonably serious weightlifting in Navy, continued in law school, barn gym thereafter for about 25 yrs until small commercial one opened nearby. Now, I have 10 gyms within about 8 miles of new residence.
Did the wrestling have a big influence on your exercises?
I wrestled for 3 years in HS. It was a lot of body weight work. Multiple types of pushups, pull-ups, chins, sit ups, bridges for neck , front and back etc…
It left a nice base of body weight work for my training through life. Don’t need much space or stuff.
rope climbing and handstand pushups were new for me in wrestling. I was familiar with about everything else they threw at me.
