So quick question here. My girl is freaking out because she is like 3 days late on her period. She thinks shes pregnant even though I have told her it isn’t possible. She’s on birth control, has been on it for like two years now and I am on TRT nothing else and have been for six months. Any chance at all she could be pregnant? I would say based on the literature I have read, no.
It’s possible. Not likely between her birth control and your lowered sperm count, etc. from TRT, but it is possible.
Both things are not 100% so it is possible. The birth control should be more effective than the TRT.
If it makes you feel better, 3 days late is not much.
Right, that’s what I have been telling her. 3 days isn’t a big deal. Two weeks and I will freak out.
TRT is not guaranteed to cause infertility, there are countless men on TRT having babies.
Your women is asking for hormonal problems of her own, an early menopause and future health problems.
That’s what I mean, the combo of TRT and birth control. I don’t see how it is even possible. My hope is for her to go off the birth control, I am planning on getting a sperm count test done soon, if I still have any sperm count I am getting snipped.
Keep in mind my TT was 50ng/dl and my FT was unreadable it was so low before I started TRT. So unless the TRT boosted my body to make sperm which is counterintuitive based on how TRT works I don’t think I can possibly father another child(which is fine with me LOL).
Yes it’s possible. You probably still have swimmers and she may have missed a pill.
You are not completely shut down, FSH is still not fully suppressed (.2). That’s why these new birth control in development phase for men will not work with any degree of certainty.
There are no guarantees with birth control either, nature will find a way.
She took a test yesterday, negative. But we aren’t out of the woods yet. She hasn’t started yet, so will take another one if she hasn’t started by Sunday which will be one week.
