Playing on the PC, I can’t even fathom how people play FPS’s on consoles. It just feels so… wrong…

The original Sims was addicting for reasons I can’t really explain right now.

Yeah. For years I would constantly go back to that game and start new family’s but only for a few weeks at a time.
That games weak link is having to make friends to get a promotion. I would always play that game a ridiculous amount but as soon as I had to have like 6 friends to get a promotion I would just get pissed and quit.

If you just ignore the existence of Blizzard’s games sure, but WoW/SC/WC3 dominate online numbers.
The best thing about SC and the WC games is the custom games. I barely even played the actual real game mode lol

To what?

I remember I would play fy_iceworld in the 1.5/1.6 versions ALL DAY long. I never could get online play to work for CS source for whatever reason. Steam sucks huge balls.
Wow that’s a nice job you had. Play video games while making money…

I was 13 and my dads a doctor. I didn’t have a job, I’m privileged, deal with it.

My job until 16 was investing in the stock market. I had made 10k before I ever had a real job.

Eventually the custom games are the only ones worth playing anyway since cheats ruined those games.

For sure, and that’s coming from someone who played ladder quite seriously too (Clan Craftz represent! =p). I mean, DotA has gotten so popular on it’s own that it branched off into a stand alone title(League of Legends) as well as getting some serious knock offs(Demigod, Heroes of Newerth).

But anyone worth their wc3 custom game salt knows that DotA wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for Aeon of Strife! Then all the different TDs, hero wars, footies, golem wars, vampires, etc etc. Legendary customization.

I was always under the impression(because of what I had been told) that ToB was just a “chapter” of the AoS maps, but maybe you’re right?

Who know I just remember I played TOB first before I ever saw AoS, but that may have just been luck.

you know your a Blizzard freak when your going to blizzcon for the 3rd year in a row and jack off to the thought of getting a Diablo 3 beta key this year in the goody bag

Perfect Dark (N64)
WWF No Mercy (N64)
NFL 2k1 (Dreamcast)
GTA San Andreas (PS2)
Gears of War (360)

Based simply on the amount of time I played each game.

I loved playing Thief…something about shooting arrows at robots with little funaces in the back I thought was pretty cool.

Medal of Honour,Halo,Gran Turismo and Star Wars:Rouge Squadron.

chill dude. I didnt say this as a reproach. Me too, I had a job where I could play video games (but I had to bring my Pc and there wasnt any internet connection) . I was an ice rink watcher and it was pretty cool.

Do you really think I am telling you to get a ‘‘real’’ job? I am not that kind of guy. I don’t like to work, so I dont spend my money.
You say you are privileged because you didnt work when you were 13 ? What kind of Nazi do you think I am?

It definitely sounded like you were getting on my ass because I said I played them “all day”. it seemed that you were implying that I should have had a job and been working. If that’s not the case, my bad.

3 hours a day? Pft. Amateur.

seriously

try 6 straight and eating nothing but Cheetos and Orange Soda.

i actually made it a point to stay away from video games after D2

that was years ago and actually my brother brought over a friend’s Xbox 360 with Fallout 3

played for like 3 days straight and beat it. so now i dont have the urge to play again. good things theres no PVP or i’d be doomed
Mofo try 10-14 hours a day of straight WoW battlegrounds, ventrillo chat, and Futurama re-runs on in the back.

I ground to Warlord on my warrior going into freshman year.
Hixosn8 wrote:

Bloxorz goes up to 33 levels. I beat it, but it took me a while. Gets crazy around level 28 if I remember right.

holy shit. eh I used to be a PvP whore back in the day too but I only started to play after TBC…damn you’re mentioning Pre TBC I think when PvP titles could be still achieved. 14hrs? I played for 17hrs straight dude in weekends and about 4-6 hrs every freaking day when I was addicted to WoW. Not as much these days, I think it got kinda boring. Same shit all over again.

Yeah I don’t know I played a lot. It was so stupid. It took me two accounts getting the best gear at 60 and at 70 to realize it’s fucking pointless. And now it’s summer and I’m bored and back to playing the WoW trial. Got a rogue back up to 19 just doing PvP right now. Gonna call Blizzard monday and tell them to give me my hunter back.
