Yeah I’ve already done that and their numbers are above mines so I’m doing what you did and focus on improving. I give myself like 3 years to get where I want. Also in my country there arent as much competitions as in USA so it might be a bit more difficult
Wednesday was rest day and today I was supposed to work out but I also have 2 exams tomorrow so there wasnt time. Tomorrow Im going to the gym for sure and on Saturday is my birthday so I think I’ll do something special.

Today was one of the best atmospheres Ive seen at my gym, at least for a while. While I was squating a friend was hyping me so it was mad but then while deadlifting a stickleg-stupid-man assumed that getting between me and the mirror to do lunges with 6kg in each hand was a good idea. Make sure your form is picture perfect and to depth and the weight will come. If it doesn’t don’t worry you are getting healthier and enjoying lifting. Do your thing.

Definitely, as soon as I hit my first goal of 2/3/4 Im going to compete. I wont win but atleast with those numbers I wont completely embarass myself, especially with a goal of being under 165 lbs .After that I will be focusing on my life time goals of 405 bench, 550 squat and 700 deadlift. I will be competing after I hit those goals for one final time. I love the feeling of progress more than I like competing tbh.
I personally like both parts but I want to feel how is competing but with decent numbers as you said. As there arent a lot of competitions in my country I want to make sure that my numbers are high enough. However until the day comes, keep pushing and let gains come
Not a bad day today but not the greatest. It was the last day of school this term and thats good but gym related today was pressing day and my shoulders didnt feel like they normally do.
The gym was empty but another stupid man felt the same as the other days guy. It really got me mad because the gym was EMPTY like if there wasnt any space I’ll understand it but man please, show some respect and education. I also know that Im not the strongest man and that everybody should do what I want blablablah, its just the first rule: Dont get between the mirror and people while they are doing something.

Now that lifting is getting serious Im thinking of buying a foam roller but I wanted to know other opinions to make sure it can help me to avoid pain and injuries.
Todays work out feelings were good, the weight felt great, I got a new PR on bench but my elbows and shoulder arent as they should be. Elbows creak while pressing, it doesnt hurt but it is uncomfortable.

As gym was closed I couldnt deadlift as I would be supposed to so I’ll just do it this week.
