It’s been awhile since I’ve posted at T-Nation. Just got back from Maui and had the girlfriend snap a couple of photos. Been lifting seriously since 2001. I like working on weak spots to try achieve a balanced physique. Not the greatest pics but interested to hear from T-Nation members. Cheers.
Seriously? A 2.0? I can’t take this place seriously anymore. I wasn’t expecting 8s or 9s but no responses and a 2.0? Obviously a mistake posting to begin with. I’m out.
Well, obviously not a contest caliber physique and I could certainly give you some posing pointers, but for 43, and still training seriously, it’s a fairly solid build no doubt.

I’m guessing you got a poor rating and no comments because:
-
as Stu said, it’s not a contest-caliber physique; RMP isn’t grading you on a curve against non-trainees in the general population, but rather against serious weight-trainers and/or physique competitors.
-
you didn’t post the “mandatories” that are generally requested in an RMP thread.
If you just want “attaboys” and/or want to know if you look good compared to the general population, you already ought to know the answer to that.
My basic impression: you’re pretty big, have nice definition in the arms, we can’t see anything about your legs under the board shorts (which is fine for a general photo, but kind of misses the boat on an RMP thread), and you have a nice taper but frankly a bit of a gut.
You look strong & healthy, of course, but if you’re seeking input from T-Nation with the intent of a “balanced physique” my guess is that the recommendation will be to cut a bit to shed some of the waistline (your stomach noticeably protrudes in the first photo, even with the “hint of abs” underneath it) and try to maintain everywhere else, possibly also bringing your legs up if they’re lagging as well.
RANDMAN!
Hadn’t seen you on here in forever. Your avatar was/is one of my all-time favorites. I never knew what you actually looked like!
RMP has been relatively dead over the last few months. Hard to say why, it just doesn’t seem like it’s getting nearly as much traffic as it used to. I almost never rate people anymore, because the ratings are so all over the map. Plus, most of the people who do start threads here these days are first-time posters who never come back.
As far as your physique goes: In the second picture, it looks like your arms could use more size for a better balance. Your insertions don’t necessarily seem favorable, so it may take more work to bring them up/ make them look ‘right’. I think the fact that you have a relatively thick midsection lends to the impression of smaller arms. Beyond that, the pose doesn’t do you any favors. The tighter flex in the first picture is certainly a better look. Chest and back, from the looks of it, seem to be well developed. You could drop a little fat, but, I mean, who couldn’t? AMIRITE!?!?!
Anyway, glad to see you, hope you don’t actually disappear again.
I gave you a 10 for the beard.
