@wedabest Sorry for the late reply. He should give it to you for 10, mine was 6 then come up to 8 and stayed there. He’ll need to see you face to face. I’ve flown to sydney 2-3 times to see him, plus 2 phone interviews as well. An alternative is finding a good functional medicine doctor. I had high iron, high heavy metals and stomach inflammation. Now on a diet high, low carb, no wheat, no dairy, lots of salad, fixed my stomach in about a month. There may be a way to recover your T levels. Worth a try before being on T for the rest of your life.
How did you get in touch with him initially?
I’m in Melbourne so hoping to try and organise a time for an initial appointment?
The only details I see are for his WA clinic and it seems to be the clinics phone number.
Thanks mate
he consults in Elsternwick. If u call up the WA office they can give you the details
@flash74 He put me on androforte 5 cream but I am unsure if creams work, I think I want to change to injections, do you think he’d be fine with that? I also want HCG, do you think he’d be okay if I emailed him asking for HCG?
@wedabest Really! supply must be getting bad if he put you on a cream. He’ll give you HCG if you tell him your balls are sore and aching.
Anyone using como Test-E, do you store in the fridge? Even though it says store at room temperature? Also usually a short use by date, anyone gone past this date by much? I have nearly done one and expired in Oct, now November. @smoothest_criminal
I use it and don’t store in fridge. I can’t imagine it expiring within a month, is there something they could add to it to spoil it so quickly?
@flash74 how is you journey going BTW, I got another over the phone appointment on Monday, everything seems good on paper, I hope I’m not throwing money down the drain though
Yeah I don’t store it in the fridge, nor am I concerned about using it after 30 days
Hi sloppy how you worried about throwing money down the drain? Getting the right help costs a fair bit. I’ve found my GP’s are too scared to do my testosterone bloods test anymore. I’ve got some other health issues with heavy metals and still feeling shit after being on test. I reckon I’m up to about $10K on doctor/flights etc over the last 3-4 years. Anyone taken DHEA, mine is low and its prescription only in Australia.
I think we are all worried that we can never be fixed, I’m just worried that Dr z just specialises in trt and my levels came back good besides above range estrogen, low b12 and low transferritin.
I guess I’ll find out when I talk to him.
I hope you can get to the bottom of it soon mate.
@sloppyrig Yeah I hear ya, I’ve been shit for 4 years. Try to find a Integrative Medicinal doctor. They look at everything from diet to exercise, blood levels, poo, gut bacteria etc. I did have a good one but he got suspended by medicial board pretty much because they are an archaic organisation a long behind the times. I see a guy in Sydney Mark Robertson, he’s been OK so far but only seen him once face to face.
@flash74 Have you got a back up if Dr z falls through, this is a massive concern for me.
What does Dr Robinson specialise in, what are you hoping to achieve?
@sloppyrig yeah very concerned about what happens after Doc Z. Every GP seems shit scared about T at the moment, so I’m at a stage where I don’t want to put them in a vulnerable position with the medical board… Doc Robertson is trying to fix my fatigue and heavy metals in my system, been battling a long time. Also he told me he wont prescribe injectible T.
Of course not, TRT cause prostate cancer, heart attacks and strokes. [sarcastic]
Prob just going to have to go underground to be honest, another thing is to call compound pharmacy and ask for doctors who prescribe but the liklihood of getting that info would be slim to none
@dbossa @physioLojik I’m going on a 8 week try of E2D and wean off my AI, before next blood test. Currently twice a week 37.5mg and 0.33mg AI twice a week. Going to do 22.5mg E2D.
Looking at old results below when my T was 38 pmols my free T good and E2 not that bad. That was daily 10% Gel. What free test should I be aiming for? With SHBG around 22 more frequent doses will help?
Labs as at 13th Feb 2016 7:32am After TRT
TSH 2.8 [0.3-3.5] mIU/L
Haematocrit 0.5 [0.4-0.54]
Haemoglobin 164 [135-175] g/L
Testosterone 38 [11-40] nmol/L
SHBG 22 [10-70] nmol/L
Cal FT 1125 H [260-740] pmol/L
PSA 3.8 H [0.25-2.2] ug/L
Oestradiol 140 [55-165] pmol/L
AST 20 [10-40] U/L
ALT 27 [5-40] U/L
T Biliruben 23 H [4-20] umol/L
@dbossa is on hiatus at the moment and since you’ve been gone @dbossa exposed @physiolojik as a fraud (he’s not the endo he claimed to be). That said much of his info is still legit.
As far as where free T should be shooting for 30 pg/ml (+/-5 pg/ml) on Labcorp results would be a good range. Your body is going to need a little time to adjust to the change so don’t expect immediate relief.
@dextermorgan no shit, I’m trying to catch up on whats happened here in the last 2 years. Thanks.
Dont wean off your ai. Drop it asap. Your androgen:e2 ratio is too high. Your estrogen is crushed.
