So I am 34 years old I was diagnosed with low t a year ago. My total t level was 8 and my free test was 7. Urologist put me on clomid 25 mg daily which I have been on for the past year. My t level total rose to 480 and free test 17 but I still don’t feel great. I found an Hrt clinic in Florida called elite Hrt and they approved me for trt at 300 mg per week of test cypionate with arimidex twice a week and hcg 500 iu twice a week for 5 months and then a month off of test. For that month they want me to take 1100 iu hcg daily and 100 mg clomid for 4 weeks and then jump back on program. I really want to try this program if anyone experienced can let me know what u think it would be appreciated

That’s a horrible protocol. Read the sticky on the top of the forums page first. Do not go on 300mg/week. Can you post all your labs? Did you test LH/FSH, DHT, E2, Prolactin, and SHBG? If not, you need to test all those.

We have a winner in the Dumbest Way to Administer TRT category. You need to run away from these people very quickly. What they’re offering you is a monitored steroid cycle with a pct. That’s not medicine. It’s borderline malpractice to even suggest that a patient should be given such a protocol.
If you’re serious about your health then you will forget you even met these nitwits.

Sounds like another T-Mill who have nothing to offer than suffering, SHBG is measured and a protocol is designed around that value, what this T-Mill has suggested is referred to as a cookie cutter protocol and they don’t work for anyone, they just want to sell as much product without regard for your safety.
Truth is these are not real doctors with any real skill, they had a crash course in hormones without attaining any knowledgeable along the way. A hormone specialist they are not and it shows. I bet they sounded all sales pitchy.
Another thing, you never cycle on and off TRT, TRT is a commitment for life. I’ll bet this T-Mill is run by a former bodybuilder.

Was his total T 8 ng/dl ??? or did he mean 8 ng/ml?? if it was 8NG/ML that’s a healthy 800 however 8 NG/DL is verging on FATAL levels. confused when you said Total T 8 gixxerman2006? just wondering brother.
It sounds like they don’t know what they are doing. OR They know exactly what they are doing, and want to keep you “jacked up” and going back to figure out what is wrong.

Thanks guys for your opinion. I have a consult with an Hrt place this week in ny where I live to see what they recommend. Would u guys recommend I just continue on the 25 mg daily of clomid that my urologist prescribed?
My total t was 8 ng/dL I was very sick. I am up to 480 with the clomid I do feel better. But thought I should look into trt.
We need to know what your SHBG is. Clomid will raise it, and if its already high, you wont get much free test.
How did you feel brother with 8 ng/dl i can ONLY imagine your ANXIETY Levels were through the ROOF Gixxerman2006 sorry too hear, i bet you felt extremely Tired everyday before Clomid i also can imagine brother.
