I’m kind of at a loss here guys. Ended up in the ER about a month ago, CT scans showed massive thrombosis in the mesenteric vein and also some in the portal vein branches. My doc said if I had come in 2 days later I would have been dead… well damn.
Now it’s a month later. Of course low T symptoms have set in (discontinuing TRT was the first thing I had to do). I lie in bed all day, no motivation to do anything, basically no will to live really. A month ago I was going to the gym 2-3 a day and played various sports, go figure.
I’m well aware of Dr. Glueck’s research, I’ve emailed him with some questions but all the blood work he wants me to do runs into several thousands of dollars, which I can’t really afford right now.
My own doc will not even hear the words TRT anymore. There is so very little research online about MVT. I know E2 is the real culprit here, but every AI is thrombogenic by default. So any exo T will be converted to E2 and I will run into the same issue.
Meanwhile since the scare I have adopted the Esselstyn diet (yes, the V-word). It’s been quite challenging but if I can somehow combine it with maintaining a proper physique (I don’t need to win Mr. O!) I’ll be happy as can be.
I’m at a loss at what to do. Does anyone have any new valuable research/insight?
I have attached my ER labs just in case it helps.
