31M - Test Results and Looking for Opinions

About me: 31 years old, 5’7, 190, and about to start TRT. In 2013 I was frustrated with how it was hard for me to put on lean muscle mass in the gym and keep the weight off, so I asked my PCP to test my test levels. It took some arguing but finally they agreed and the total test came back to 287, at the time I was too young to start TRT but it gave me a good idea to where I was heading.

Fast forward to this week, been putting on more weight lately, and some other signs of low T started popping up. So I went to a clinic that specializes in this and they had me go take a more thorough series of test, the results came back at 176 total test and 3.6 free test. So with this information I’m about to start TRT, honestly just wanting some feedback on my results and upcoming protocol that I will be doing. Thanks for your time.

Results:
Total Test: 176
Free Test: 3.6
Estriadol: 15.4
I have a lot more that was tested these are just the main.

TRT:
Test Cyp – 210mg a week
AI – Believe its EOD but have to double check the package
HCG – twice a week believe the dosage is 500.

So comments, concerns, opinions? Thanks again for your time.

EDIT* Imgur link to my labs. Imgur: The magic of the Internet . You can also see my previous post which had my old labs. Thanks again.

My recommendation is run from this clinic, these doctors are selling a package of test, arimidex and HCG without regard for the biomarkers obtained by your labs. This is how a doctor that doesn’t know what their doing does things, a knowledgeable doctors tailors a protocol designed off your labs. How do you even know you’ll require an AI, where’s the proof? Do you have high E2 levels?

These clinic doctors has no skill as they’re selling a package that was put together by someone else. Where are all your labs including SHBG? These clinics are nothing more than licensed drug dealers with unskilled doctors. That’s a whopper of a dose of test that most can’t handle, typical weekly starting doses is 100mg split twice weekly or more depending on your SHBG levels.

Gonna need ranges for the tests. Also, who said you were too young at 26?

It is unwise to start at that much T.
Get the AI particulars posted.

Where are you located? Sounds like USA.

We would like to see all of your lab work in list format with ranges.

You need to test prolactin and LH/FSH.
LH/FSH must be done prior to TRT so you can know if the problem is your testes or your pituitary. If testes are bad, hCG might not work well.

Any pains or aches in testes?
Do they hang normally low?
Smaller now?

Are you needing to preserver fertility.

Note that most guys who come here have some degree of thyroid issues. Please evaluate via oral body temperatures - see below. There can be adrenal complications when trainng with thyroid problems and low-T.

With very low FT and E2=15.4 pg/ml<–? I have strong expectations that TRT would take you past E2-22pg/ml [target level]. So starting with AI 1mg per 100mg T then testing will then allow for a dose correction calculation and you can be on target then instead of later lab cycle on AI.

Evaluate your overall thyroid function by checking oral body temperatures as per the thyroid basics sticky. Thyroid hormone fT3 is what gets the job done and it regulates mitochondrial activity, the source of ATP which is the universal currency of cellular energy. This is part of the body’s temperature control loop. This can get messed up if you are iodine deficient. In many countries, you need to be using iodized salt. Other countries add iodine to dairy or bread.

I can be a bit abrupt in my replies and recommendations. I have a lot of ground to cover as this forum has become much more active in the last two years. I can’t follow threads that go deep over time. You need to respond to all of my points and requests as soon as possible before you fall off of my radar. The worse problems are guys who ignore issues re thyroid, body temperatures, history of iodized salt. Please do not piss people off saying that lab results are normal, we need lab number and ranges.

The value that you get out of this process and forum depends on your effort and performance. The bulk of your learning is reading/studying the suggested stickies.

My testes are fine, no aches or pains. SO says they are larger than average and I have a very high libido. Just uploaded all my labs and ranges.
