Yes usually happens when you don’t take the right trt dose. Keep estrogen low. 20 + free t and 40+ e2
You are anemic. Take some chelated iron with your B12 and consider taking magnesium glycinate right before bed. You are seriously low on iron.
Thanks for your reply. Also what do you think of reason behind high DHEA & Progesterone. My face looks so dull and puffy like its trying to tell i have some serious health issue. Could that be related any of above lab results? like low iron, b12 etc
Low iron will make you look pale and sickly looking. Iron plays a role in all kinds of shit.
Get a bottle of iron, take the recommended dose and tell us how you are in a week. I’ll bet you’re a different man.
That makes sense. I have ordered iron(50mg) and B12(1000mcg, Sublingual). Do you take that any time of the day? also what dosage is good
I want to add GI bleed can cause a loss of iron, you would normally see black colored stools indicate blood loss. Also low iron can affect the immune system and can cause inflammation which might help explain the high white cell count.
When I was iron deficient I had a chronic cough.
You are going to need more than 50mg of iron daily. The one I took was 106mg elemental iron per pill and I took 1 early in the day and .5 later in the day.
The iron needs to be taken at least 1 hour before or two hours after coffee or food (they hinder absorption). Take iron with 1000mg vit C at same time.
Here’s the iron I took
I had cold during blood test, that might be the cause of high WBC? Stool colour is normal and i had endoscopy a year ago and was treated for H.pylori, i think now its fine.
with vitamin C or B12? I should take Vitamin C as well?
Do you notice excessive curly hair, bad taste in mouth, soft inflamed gums or tooth ache?
Do you feel bloated or sick after eating?
These are symptoms of vitamin C deficiency I have experienced myself. Vitamin C helps turn food into energy.
Take 1000mg of vit C with iron.
PSA |0 - 2.5| 2.38 µg/L |NORMAL|
@systemlord what do you think about my PSA level? is it very high? I have frequent urination issue as well. Getting worse after trt
TRT improves urination, how often do you urinate?
@systemlord after the injection i even go 4-5 times with in 2 hours. Daily i would say 15-20 times. Urine flow is good and there is no difficulty in passing etc… But when i feel to urinate i can’t hold it and my face start swelling overall. I have no idea what could be link between these two. Before Trt i had everything checked up like kidney ultrasound, urine flow test and also cytoscopy. Everything came back normal.
That’s a good sign, if you did have problems urinating that would point to benign prostate hyperplasia. I know when estrogen is low, I urinate quite frequently because I’m unable to hold onto water. Two days ago I restarted TRT and right off the bat I notice less frequent urination.
I just start taking Iron with vitaminC and also Vitamin B12. I noticed black stool continuosuly after that(almost 3 days). I read that iron can cause that, but will that be all my life as long as i am taking iron?
Yes iron causes black stool. It will be black as long as you take iron.
I talked with my doctor. He said elevated DHEA and progesterone level is normal after starting TRT, that is not a thing to concern. Also about my feet getting cold and thyroid inflamation he suggested me to take armour thyroid. According to him my iron is good but i would need to supplement with Vitamin B12. SO now my protocol would be 30 mg EOD(IM), Armour Thyroid 30MG and vitamin b12 1000mcg. What you guys think about that @systemlord @dextermorgan @enackers @hardartery
I think it’s a good plan. You might want to do folate or methylfolat a couple of times a week as well.
