In this article the most influential economics source in the world discusses how the GOP’s plan of record as of today would make Medicare insolvent by 2016, ~a decade sooner than the current (bipartisan developed) plan of record. The Democrats say it would be long term solvent with their proposed changes. The jury remains out on if that is true of course, but I understand their numbers are not in major dispute outside of the political arena.

Is there anyone out there still foolish enough to think the GOP have the slightest credibility on economic issues to anyone who can read a balance sheet and knows deficit and bankruptcy are not good ideas?

And Obama IS credible on economic issues? 42 straight months of unemployment over 8%, we have not seen this since the great depression! A 16 trillion dollar debt of which he is personally responsible for 4 trillion. More people on food stamps than every before. And about 100 million people reliant on some sort of government money. I think we should hear just about anyone else’s plan other than Obama’s. He’s proven to be a complete failure as President. And, as I’ve said before, the second worst modern day President after LBJ.

But you live in Canada and probably don’t keep up as you should so no problem…

Joshua’s trail is ALL about the election. You’d know that if you’d just listen once. =] Racism among liberals is what reminded me to mention it. Nobody can spell that out better than Elder Levon Yuille. It is a political show hosted by black Christian men who REALLY REALLY get it.
You mean to tell me that it is all about politics and not ONE word about religion?
Of course there are many words in reference to the gospel, but it is a political show from an authentically Christian perspective. It would really kill ya to just listen to it once? You’d see what I’m talkin about. These men are patriots to their core in the name of Jesus. Tons of history and political commentary setting straight why the black community in our society is in the horrific shape it is. They are also all unabashed registered Republicans and proud of it. Really man. I don’t think it’s what you think it is and it is definitely not off topic in any thread dealing with politics.

This alone is such a huge issue, and points to why the conversation of “raise taxes” or “fair share” is not the first conversation we need to be having.

More taxes doesn’t fix the fact 1/3 of the nation is living off of the other 2/3’s. That means there are less than 2 people working for every one person not working.

We need to address a way to get a good, solid chunk of the unproductive 1/3 productive again.

Wealth redistribution, state planned economy and higher taxes don’t accomplish this.

But this conversation requires everyone, rich and poor, to face a harsh reality. Requires everyone to understand government’s current flaws. It requires everyone to see the problem for what it is, and not some political talking point.

This isn’t a R v D problem, not a rich v poor problem, this is an American problem. The god damn “v”, and the people that push that V Agenda, are what is killing us.

Always question and worry when politicians quote the Bible.

Our stupid fucking governor quoted the Bible in saying, “those that have been “given” much, should contribute the most.”

Makes you wonder what the delivery room looked like when they were born…

Doctor: “Congratulations Mrs., it’s a boy ! Now give him his corporation !”

48% of working America pays no federal income tax!

That is one stat that most cannot get their arms around.
