Not in the same way the Greeks did, but the Stoics DID believe in a lack of emotion and a strict discipline in making their life(or body) what they wanted it. Maybe I am more of a naturalistic stoic

This is why we need some sort of Goon Squad to work along with the police, but somewhat out of the public knowledge. There is no way the police or the court system can provide enough justice.
It would be so much better to hear “Suspects turned up dead in a sewar, suffering similar deaths to that of their victims” than it is to hear “…life in prison”

You should rent The Star Chamber, Michael Douglas is the main character…not a bad flick and I always loved the conept of the movie.
I watched one of the beheading video’s on a thread awhile back and I wish I haden’t but at the same time it made me appreciate the cozy life I have here compared to other parts of the big bad world.
can’t watch either, shit like this affects the soul. fuckers like these guys in the video are a malady on the planet, not like the other people walking around with good will and compassion.
