29Y/O. Dr Wants to Put Me on TRT

If injecting T twice a week, your levels are quite steady.

T is steadier with SC/SQ injections VS IM.

Transdermal T will create a lot more E2 and cost a lot more, as only 10% is absorbed at best and with your TSH, absorption might be very poor.

TT is not high.
FT is is not high enough.
SHBG may be elevated, but E2=19.1 is not doing that.

LH/FSH–>zero on TRT, testing is wrong.

TSH should be nearer to 1.0
Do you get to 98.6 in the afternoon?
Are you not using iodized salt?

Be careful with “normal and in range”. There can be important details in that data.

Red face etc: What is your BP now?

BP is always under 120/80, Ive always had great blood pressure and check frequently.

I will check temp again tomorrow

I am injecting 2x a week in deltoid IM

I try to use iodized salt every since starting and am taking vitamins with iodine in it.

selenium too I hope

Yes I am

Looks good?

Im starting to think my E2 might be a little low and would make sense considering how I am feeling. Joint clicking/pain, fatigue, no pump, ive read some guys have had the red flush from low E2 as well. Ive heard of the 14-20 ratio for T to E2. With that formula I’m over 40. I’ve been doing 2x a week IM shots 60mg each on M and TH. Should I do a single shot in hopes it raises my E2 and I feel better? Im all ears gentlemen, Thank you

anyone with some advice please

I am not an expert, but if your E2 is 19 without an ai, then changing the frequency of your shots may be worth trying. You are pretty close to the sweet spot. You do not need to just jump from twice a week to once a week. Weeks are just an arbitrary unit. You could try doing 71mg every 5 days if you want to do a more subtle change. Would still give you 100mg per week

Full blood work, should I try to donate blood and see if it helps with red face.

Does not look good.
Selenium 14mcg is rather low, look for 150-200mcg

Please see this link and scroll down to see a good reference product to see what ingredients and quantities are good. Many multi-vits simply fall short, but look good at first glance. There are other sources with good products, I just knew where to locate this example.
