I just ran labs 2 weeks ago and my test level came back at 147 normal range is 300-800. Doctor has me on .5ml weekly for 3 months to see how well i do. I’ve always worked out regularly and have tried to develop my body but it never wanted to change I felt like. I’m wondering what to expect with the new test injections if I can expect good results. I’m 5’11 190lbs about 12% body fat. Workout 5-6 days a week and eat 1800-2200 calories a week. I would like to achieve my ideal body and mode energy in general. Any tips advice or knowledge on the matter would be beneficial. I’ve never taken anything other than what protein before.
Please self-inject your T twice a week
Inject subq over upper legs with #29 1/2" 0.5ml insulin syringes to get smoother T levels.
Your testes will most likely shrink, there are rare exceptions and fertility is at real risk.
Assume that your T is 200mg/ml, always discuss does by mg’s, iu’s etc, not volumes.
Provide all pre-TRT lab results with ranges, in list format.

Evaluate your overall thyroid function by checking oral body temperatures as per the thyroid basics sticky. Thyroid hormone fT3 is what gets the job done and it regulates mitochondrial activity, the source of ATP which is the universal currency of cellular energy. This is part of the body’s temperature control loop. This can get messed up if you are iodine deficient. In many countries, you need to be using iodized salt. Other countries add iodine to dairy or bread.
