22 Yrs Old 5'9, 180 lbs.

Awesome results , congrats mate !

Looking good!
Specially likes the legs, how much do they messure?

What exersices do you do for quads and hams ( I read you pre exauted them before the big movements)? just curious, because you have definitly done something thats working.

Gave you a 8, keep up the good work

Let me add my congrats as well. Very respectable showing at your first competition. You looked great.

Now that we can compare your 180lb pics to your contest photos at 158lbs, I believe you should work on your contest prep for next time. Just from looking at the photos, I would say you lost a bit of lean mass in the process of dropping fat. Next time, find a place that can accurately measure your body fat percentage (not with calipers, but displacement of some sort, or even better, imaging technology) and then have it checked each week to ensure your protocol is not causing you to lose lean mass. That should make a huge difference for you.

yeah with legs, i just find that making sure you feel the excercise where its supposed to hit
makes all the difference rather than just going through the motions and for in order to feel my quads/hams working, i HAVE to pre-exhaust them with isolation before i do my squats/legpress etc. i’m stating a new routine of sorts now though, im gonna start doing front squats on the smith rather than back squats as i think i’ve kinda plateaued on them and i need some time off doing them. so my main quad movements in the off season are gonna be front squats and leg press and then do my FST-7 sets on hack squats. while with hamstrings, its gonna stay the same with lying leg curl, stiff legged deads and then seated leg curl for the FST-7 sets.

yeah defo mate, lookin back on the pics i saw i lost a lot of size on my back mainly. i think the reason for that is cos i was trying so hard to make weight, but my body just did not wanna be anywhere near 72kg! but i wont be having that problem next year as i’ll probs be competing in the under 80kg class so i should be able to come in with a better package. keeping the size shouldnt be a problem mainly cos of the fact that at 2 weeks i was 76kg and a LOT harder and fuller than what i was at the show! but again, because my class had a height to weight ratio, i HAD to be 72kg on the day! but like i said, next year will be different

You look great, good genetic shape, just keep growing.

How do you look so thick only being at 160lbs man? I weigh 170lbs and look like a toothpick compared to you. I’ve got lots of definition on my arms but not as thick as you.
