My diet consists of mainly natural foods, lots of whole-grain carbs and ~2g protein/lb of bodyweight per day. I have one cheat meal most days postworkout, something including sugar, and try to limit sugar and any unnatural foods the rest of the day.
I train 6 days/wk, legs first, using all intensity exercises I can think of. My legs are about 2 years’ consistent training time behind my upper body, but since I started doing exclusively 20-25 rep sets and shortening my rest periods, I’ve seen great gains.

Solid dude, have you got a closer shot of your calves? they just look abit smaller in the bottom shot. But awesome work.[/quote]
Yeah, they’ve only got about 6 months’ steady work in them, but they’ve grown faster than any other body part I have, and already demonstrate more vascularity than anything else, which is one thing I have in abundance. I’ll upload a shot of them.
Thanks, guys. Yeah, I feel my back and arms are my best parts right now. Trying to make everything else flow really well with them. @optheta- I feel the key to clean bulking is lots of complex carbs, and no sugar except for immediately postworkout. When you keep your insulin steady all day and keep your body supplied with carbs and protein, it can grow and keep you anabolic without storing too much fat. It’ll also change your insulin sensitivity and help your body use foods better.
@ds1973- Thanks! No, not really. I tend to eat around 5,000-7,000 cals/day when bulking, the majority of those from complex carbs. I focus on eating more on leg day, but I don’t really count anything too closely right now.
I got my roommate to take a video of me doing Smith Machine Squats, a drop set from 3 plates-2-1. I wanted to see my form and make sure it was good, and I just felt like doing them on the machine because I was in a serious wreck on Sunday and I didn’t want to stress my back; it just feels kinda funny. And I had to stay really light because I had already done 4 sets of pre-exhaust leg extensions x 60 reps per set, and 4 sets of front squats x x 20 reps per set.
…tried to upload the video, but it’s sideways and plays high speed…
