In my area fast food restaurants are advertising 18-20 an hour as a starting wage. I don’t think this is about minimum wage, which is much lower than that.
He was revolutionary when he checks notes had a couple of post offices renamed.

Fast food has to do that to attract workers. The moment they can afford machines that have demonstrated to work more efficiently and less expensive the workers will be fired(let go). Owners are not offering those wages out of benevolence.
