They make decisions on legal issues that go into law. Maybe you don’t like the word pass, so you try and split hairs to make you feel like you scored a technical point. All the while it has basically come down to the same thing. So GTFOH.

Ummmm no.
The Supreme Court interprets laws passed by Congress and judge if said laws are constitutional or not with how it is being applied or on its face. They set boundaries for laws, but they do not make them or determine what goes into law.
They are the final arbiters of passed law by the law-making body and executive branch rulings to make sure all branches are staying within their constitutionally defined authority.
I may live in a make-believe world, but I actually know how the Supreme Court functions.

One would have to think both candidates from the major parties are equally bad to have this conclusion. If you think one is worse and one is better, then it is rational to vote for the better one.
Voting third party isn’t always a waste of a vote either. For example, I think one of the reasons the Dems are addressing MJ legalization is because they are sick of losing votes to MJ legalization parties (especially when so many races are won or lost on slim margins).
I think there are rational reasons to vote for one of the major parties, or a third party.

It is by default the better choice.
We also can’t compare to anything else. Maybe things would be worse had most people not followed this strategy.
Maybe things have to get worse before they can get better.
Things continue to get worse whether a Rep or Dem is in the WH.
So they decide if a law is constitutional or not.
Man, I didn’t know we were in a court otherwise I’d have hired an attorney.
Or to how far it can be applied / what situations it can’t be applied to constitutionally / limits or scope.
Congress can always pass another law or amendment to the law to address the issues Scotus has.

I have to make a confession, but I can’t do it in the flame free confession thread because it’s political.
If Trump is the Republican nominee in 2024, I will be voting for him again. I still can’t listen to Trump spout his craziness, but the entertainment value…no, make that guilty pleasure, of listening to Liberal Lemmings lose their absolute shite over Trump? I don’t have those superpowers of resistance.

Yes he can be funny. His bluntness can be refreshing. I liked during the Republican primary debate when Jeb “snoozefest” Bush went on and on about how lucky he felt to have a mother like his and Trump with this deadpan reply said maybe she should run then. Bwhahahaha…
But he is essentially just another lying politician. Lying to get votes. But he is an embarrassment to the empire because sometimes he says the quiet part out loud. Like him admitting that the U.S. is in Syria for the oil or admitting it was the U.S. that blew up the Nordstream pipeline. Or his admission that the U.S. is not so innocent when it comes to the killing of others.
