It was implied by another poster, hence the statement.
So you understand that the U.S. spends as much as the next 9 countries on their military combined. Most of which are our allies.
You weren’t silent for either. So you routinely voiced your opposition on this forum?
Like invading other countries and pretending to spread democracy. Something we don’t even have here. Why do we typically invade or try economic sanctions to change the regime to something that is more business friendly?
No, because i wasn’t posting here until late last year, and both are well in the past.
A lot of that money never went to the war, it went to the Military Industrial Complex. I don’t agree with the war on terrorism, despite having been willing to die for it. It was a faux war for faux virtue that killed far too many of my brothers - and resulted in an ongoing abuse of power by the existing security state we live in.
That being said, I do agree with money that was and still is being used to maintain military dominance, hence my line of work. Being on top is profitable, but that could have been achieved without the ongoing desecration of our privacy.
Wrong. When there isn’t enough of something-lack of production-inflation occurs. Or in the Zimbabwe case hyperinflation. Production of food fell greatly and became a shit-ton more expensive. This happened prior to the money printing. So lack of production was the cause.
You have people who know about our slack in the economy and our unused production capacity. It is part of their profession. It is something that could be studied and put together. Not going over this mark, would help to ensure against inflation.
Lack of production is more often the cause of inflation. Not the printing of money, which most-if not all- on here believe. Here is a video I’ve posted before with jerkoff Paul Ryan and Alan Greenspan in a moment of truth. Greenspan does a nice job explaining lack of production and the need to structure a system that produces things which the money given out is employed to purchase.
To be honest, fascists dorks from the Silicon Valley are making a concerted medium-term effort to turn the US into a Russian-style oligarchy so there’s that.
It’s kind of funny watching historical processes repeat themselves, only this time in a digital domain.
US was never a democracy but a constitutional republic.
Money talks - always has, always will. It’s not a western society problem. It’s a human greed problem. The caste system in India has existed for a long time. I invite you to read about the slums of Mumbai and how the folks living there bunk 8 to a room just to eek out enough to buy food.
