Unbelievable… I didn’t think you and I would agree on anything but here you go with a new account and some common ground!
You left out the part where I suggested they do their jobs like adults, which to me implies having integrity and pride in your work.
But yes, you are right. It is a news business, not a news service.
And how many decades has it been since this was it’s M.O.? To assume or expect this in any way IS delusional.
Exactly.
Got another computer as my old screen cracked. Couldn’t remember my login credentials so I had to start over. And you didn’t think I could just leave my favorite right-wing nut jobs, did you?
I figured you had accidentally gotten hired (because you have to apply to jobs to continue getting unemployment benefits) at some prestigious magazine like Buzzfeed or Vice to write their Gen Z financial column, but your version is much more boring.
Did you try [I<3BigBlackMMT]?
Is this new @castoli711 a reincarnate @castoli ?
What would be your definition of an accomplished lifter? Tulsi leaving the Democratic party because they love war is noble. But running into the arms of another war mongering party(Republicans) is suspect to say the least.
Someone that doesn’t believe in MMT.
Post a video of your best squat set and I’ll let you know. @flipcollar is a very accomplished lifter by any standard, who I am still hoping will take the time to post a thoughtful answer to my question.
Don’t have a video of any of my squat sets. I guess I’m not serious after all. If I was I’d have a number of videos of me lifting.
Or better yet someone that doesn’t believe in something because he doesn’t understand it.
You + Inflation + printing money?
We already knew this. I get the impression i Squat more than your paycheck, but unemployment pay is getting good these days so maybe not.
And you believe printing money is the cause of our inflation. Bwahaha… what a child. You probably still put your trust into all those economists that have been scare mongering about the debt for decades now. Saying the sky is falling and being wrong every time. The fact that it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t make you think something is wrong with their analysis. You just like keeping faith in the infinitely wrong crowd. But maybe, just maybe you can tell us when it will all come crashing down. 35 trillion, 40 or 50? Could it be 100?
Not sure what my own best squat set would be, but I can tell you the awful-est one was 365 or 375 for a set of 20.
true. I have many. That’s how you know I’m accomplished. I may or may not be using fake plates in my videos though.
maaaan calling me out. I saw the question originally, couldn’t decide how to respond, and ended up just leaving it alone.
IDK. I mean, is the question more about the public nature of the defection/ how she handled it? Or is the question more about how I take her defection in general?
As far as the more general question, it makes absolute sense that she defected. Her values are pretty directly in line with Republican values, as is her rhetoric. Given some of the things she’s saying these days, it’s really hard to reconcile the fact that she was ever even a democrat in the first place. Which ends up taking me to my point of uncertainty, meaning, I currently question her authenticity. I truly can’t tell how much of what she says is stuff she actually believes, and how much is about ingratiating herself with her current party. And if she’s authentic now, it kinda makes me feel like she wasn’t previously. I don’t have a fully formed opinion on all of that.
Although I guess you would be a decent reference point for me. You made a similar switch over the last decade, right? So I guess it can happen. And I did say previously that I appreciate that she’s been willing to change her opinions on things, rather than just adhere blindly to whatever beliefs she started with.
As for the public nature of the defection… meh. Doesn’t move the needle much for me. I guess if she was going to make a full switch, it needed to be handled this way. It’s definitely part of a bigger plan.
It won’t come ‘crashing down’, it will result in only 2 classes of people. Poor and Rich beyond belief.
Inflation IS the game for rich folk because they never have liquidity. So as a byproduct of inflation:
- all assets have become more valuable (the more assets you have, the more this benefits you), making the 1% even more one-percenty
- The middle class will evaporate because money will become worthless as assets become unreasonably pricey
- the poor will remain on food stamps and have little to no change in quality of life… except that they are no longer the bottom ~25% of earners (because they have been joined by the rest of the lower 99%).
So no, the sky won’t come crashing down - but your quality of life will.
All brought to you by Capitalism.
You should go visit Venezuela and see how socialism is helping those people over there.
Before it was the debt, debt, debt. Now that it was found out to be a ruse, the focus has switched to inflation. While it is a bit more complicated, it will eventually be found out to be another ruse. At least in it’s origin.
I wonder whether they’re related. Like, what if people worried about debt because they believed it would lead to inflation?
