Mahomes seems to cancel that with his scrambling. Add Tyreek Hill to the mix and he can just throw it to open space and the Cheetah will track it down. They’re going to have to scheme for his scrambling which means having a LB spy him or having the D end stay home.
Basically, each team is going to have to do what every other team has done this year - scout their opponent and figure out a way to win. As a Chiefs fan and someone who lives in the Midwest, I saw a lot of Chiefs football this year but not so much from SF. I know that Bosa is a beast, but that’s about it. I know that the Chiefs struggled at times in the season, but injuries were a factor during those games. A healthy team hasn’t been beat this year.
It’ll be fun to watch.

In which case, we might all enjoy a replay of the Niners-Saints game. Kyle Shanahan prefers to run and dominate on defense, but boy can he pull out all the stops with his own bag of tricks if he has to.

As a (biased) sports fan, I’ve seen the 9ers win. This is the first time I’ve seen the Chiefs win past the regular season in my life.
If you took that out of the equation then I’d be pulling for the 9ers. I like John Lynch and it’d be cool to see him complete the revival. I remember the talks about him when he first got hired. The expectations were high and he has delivered.
I grew up watching Montana, Rice, Allen, John Taylor, and then Steve Young as they dominated the NFC. It’s been strange watching them suck these past years.

The tiger pushed SF over first, but then went and “embraced” the KC one instead. We’ll know what that means after tomorrow’s game… ;-0

I don’t think they’re going to finish the deal next year. They’ll probably be like the Rams. I just wanted to see them win once in my life…like the Royals.

That play might not get overturned because of how overwhelming the evidence needs to be, but that wasn’t a touchdown.
But I don’t think they’ll overturn it. Not definitive enough.
I’m happy that didn’t call him out of bounds. Couldn’t overturn it either way.
And I think he scored. Just the tip.

That last view from an angle made it look like the nose of the ball crossed when his foot landed out of bounds.
I’m actually kind of surprised they don’t have a pylon cam that points down the goal line and sideline simultaneously.
