It’s Liverpool.
yeah, my bad. I’m out. carry on.

Apologies, back to NFL…
I’d be serious too, that guy does not have a solid prediction history, unlike Romostradamus. But most importantly, SKIP BAYLESS doesn’t like the hire, so that’s like…a really good sign.
Then again, Shannon Sharpe also didn’t like the hire, and I do legitimately trust his opinions, so we’ll see what’s going on.
Don’t know if it’s true (I think so), but the NFL supposedly told Romo to stop announcing/predicting the plays pre-snap during his broadcasts. I believe it because the first couple time I listened to him, it was unfrickingbelievable how accurate he was. Then he seemed to stop doing it.
Well, the truth is, no one can predict how a coach will “perform”. Unless they have a track record. Like Adam Gase… ![]()
add: what was Shannon’s take on the Daniel Jones pick? -pretty sure he was one of the naysayers because he was one of the “it’s only one game” guys after Jones killed it against Tampa Bay; I don’t watch the talking heads; believe it or not, the “fantasy” analysts are much, much better because they only care about the potential production of stats
I don’t know, but Skip made a point that Joe Judge was a Daniel Jones-like pick, aka “what?” but turned out alright, so whatever Shannon’s take was, he seems alright with him now.
Also, to your point, they do better when they’re giving hot takes than when they’re actually doing analysis.
Jason Witten was the best though. Absolutely no idea what was going on during every game, haha.
Witten was so bad!!! And the combover hairdo!
I see the bye has done wonders for the fucking Ravens.
I mean, they all sat out week 17 too. They’ve had 3 weeks without a game. That’s ROUGH, when facing a team that just beat the reigning champs. They don’t look like the Ravens.
They did on that first drive…moving the ball well, Lamar being Lamar, fired off a really nice pass there, but that INT pass - his first in a long time - is a real mindfuck.
I know man, they should have played in the last week. I’ve always thought sitting for two weeks is a mistake.
I was unaware that the Titans were a defensive juggernaut.
The Titans D has been good for a couple years now. I honestly wouldn’t call them a ‘defensive juggernaut’, but I’d consider them highly underrated and the Ravens offense to be a total clusterfuck of nerves and mistakes right now. Perfect storm kind of thing.
It’s great that the Titans are winning and all, but Henry’s stats are kind of rare. Tannehill has thrown for less than 200, less than 100, and less than 100 yards in the last three games and they’ve all been wins. They got the lead early and just ran the ball after that.
Looks like the key to beating the Titans is to stop playing from behind.
You mean the Ravens of course. And I agree.
Lamar Jackson is average at best as a passer, bringing him back to the pack as a QB when he has to (mostly) pass.
Reading the tea leaves makes me more and more optimistic on the Giants’ hiring of Judge.
Seems like the “Belichick tree” is pretty successful when they’re not the “name” guys. (Weis, Crennel, Patricia) Vrabel only played for Belichick; Flores was never given the DC title; O’Brien was OC, but spent 4 years as HC at Penn State (plus he has his own Brady in DeShaun Watson to bail him out).
If I’m right, Josh McDaniels will be fool’s gold for whichever team hires him…provided he actually follows through of course!
I’m trying to be optimistic about the Chiefs winning today and thinking about their next challenge.
I think with teams built to stop the passing juggernauts a power running team has a big advantage now. Be nice if the pendulum swings that way again.
He’s also just a rare commodity. A man his size is usually running past OTs into the backfield, not running past DBs for 30 yard gainers.
