2015 NFL Season

So many words…yet I have none.

Totally the emotion I want to see out of my starting quarterback…such a leader!

Yea man sorry, I thought my Boys were in trouble, at least we can blame injuries.

The Eagles look lost.

Like no direction. The D played their hearts out for being on the field that much. Brady or Rogers would have thrown 8 TDs.

While I’m clearly not a fan of the Cowboys, no one likes to see star players get injured like Dez and Romo did. You guys have a grind ahead to stay in it until they get back. Lucky for you, you’ve got an incredible O-line and a revived defense that can hold camp.

Chip Kelly annihilated our offensive line and thought he could just plug-n-play. This season is gonna be a disaster, most likely. Two consecutive games of inept and flaccid offense is as telling as it can be. I even doubted we could look as bad as we did against the Falcons for a 2nd week in a row…boy, was I wrong! We all were!

Just really don’t know what to think at this point. I feel awful for DeMarco Murray (on the competitive front - he’s doing just fine off the field - $$$). He definitely didn’t sign up for this shit.

Give it time, they can still rebound. Lots of new starters on that roster, should have a better idea of the team closer to weeks 6-8.

My feelings towards john football should be well known on here. He played decent yesterday, made some mistakes, but did a good job beating the sorry ass titans. The Browns have to keep him as the starter, we known what McCown can do and he’s on the wrong side of 30.

The jury is out until he plays a divisional opponent.

Jury is definitely still out. That team has to stick with him, at least for now. If not they need to try and trade him. They spent the draft pick on him. He showed improvement from last week. Let it roll and see what you got.

Man, I really hope he keeps showing improvement. Not, because I have said I think he will do good. Because, if he can show his skills in the NFL, it will make for some exciting football.

It might be that the team that wins the NFC east could go 9-7. Cowboys still have a chance considering how poor some of the other division opponents have played.

Eagles look lost. You can’t entirely blame Murray for the poor running performance when he was constantly getting hit in the backfield.

Worse would be the Chargers intercepting Tom Brady in the AFC divisional game and then Marlon Mccree decides to run around with the ball instead of falling down and then fumbling it and then the Patriots scoring to win…
I have no empathy for other fans complaining about their teams failing.
What has any San Diego team ever won? No championships here. One Superbowl appearance where the Chargers got slaughtered by the Niners. The Padres are always a disappointment. At least you guys have a good basketball team and Lebron James.

Darrelle Revis is the best defensive player in the NFL. He is the best cornerback ever. Better than Deion, better than Woodson, and Mike Haynes. If the Patriots had signed him like they should have, they would run the table this year.

I love seeing the Colts 0-2, especially vs. 2 conference opponents. As well as the Ravens.

Andy Reid is the most overrated coach in the history of the NFL. Terrible play calling at the end of both halves

Andy Dalton is doing his best to take over Peyton Manning’s title of Mr. October.

Giants suck, Saints suck. Eagles suck. 49ers came back to Earth in Pittsburgh.

Before Aaron Williams got hurt, Rex should have sent him back to the locker room. He was the village idiot out there. Bills ain’t ready for prime time.

Miami will never be taken seriously when it has to squeak by the Redskins and then lose to a 4-12 bound Jacksonville team.

I’d trade the Cavs for the beaches and women

JJ Watt might have something to say about the best defensive player in league.

Agreed about the 0-2 colts.

Fuck the colts,
Sincerely
Everybody without a quality QB

We couldn’t pay him what the Jets offered. Not enough salary cap room for that.

Bit harsh on Reid, he didn’t throw 2INTs or fumble the ball 3 times. Running the ball with Jamaal Charles at the end of the 2nd wasn’t a bad call per se. The end of the first he should have ran it or knelt. The bad playcalling was in the red zone at the end of the first drive when he called 3 passes targeted outside the endzone.

He can be infuriating at times but he also can be fantastic, see the Patriots and Seahawks games last year. He took over a two win team has one playoff trip, only just missed last year and we will make the playoffs again this year.

I am willing to bet that every coach in the league has a lot of respect for Andy Reid as a head coach. If he is your head coach, you really shouldn’t waste any energy looking for a different one.

Yup, that was all on Charles. You hand the ball off there because he could break off a big run, but if he doesn’t, you just let the clock expire and go to overtime. You just assume he won’t fumble the ball.

Absolutely. Not like there is any Belicheck clones waiting by the phone for the Chiefs to call. Lucky to have a coach the calibre of Reid after RAC and Haley.

First half, up a TD throw two straight passes, one gets picked. So instead of going into the half with a lead, you’re tied.

Andy Reid is a good coach but not a winner. He can get you close, but he’s not taking you to the promised land. Bad time manager. Remember the Super Bowl?

I like the Chiefs team, they’ll be a 10-6/11-5. They gave that one away.

Love JJ Watt but Revis completely changed the Patriots defense last year. They did have room to sign him, they chose not to. Yes, it would have been a big hit, but they signed Nate Solder who is an average left tackle to big money. They also re-signed McCourty. The depth wouldn’t have been there, but their albatross is going to be the corner opposite Butler.

…or just corner. I like Butler and he continues to improve leaps and bounds every week but he is still a question mark in my book. He’s not a shut down and requires a lot of help over the top (hence McCourty). Arington was almost as big of a loss as Revis TBH - 2 solid players in the secondary gone. At least the Pats bolstered their front 7

How do you imagine they had the room to sign him? His cap hit with the Jets is 16 million this year, 17 million next year. Solder didn’t have a great year last year, but overall he is supremely talented and has ranked extremely high in prior seasons. McCourty? Only one of the best safeties in the league.

McCourty and Solder COMBINED are only a roughly 11.6 million against the cap. You also aren’t taking into account that Solder’s contract is an extension AFTER the 2015 season, and that only 1/3 of the signing bonus money is against this year. You say we had the room to sign Revis, but at what cost? Based on the current cap space and his contract with the Jets, to match it we would need to make roughly 15 million in cap space. That would mean decimating depth or cutting bigger contracts and creating dead money.

No, economically it wouldn’t have worked. It’s easy to say “x player is worth y amount and they should have signed him” but no one wants to look at what damage that would cause the rest of the roster.
