I became a bigger fan of Hardy over this weekend and I hope he does get extended. There is a guaranteed ZERO percent chance that what happened has a negative impact on this team. It is going to help us going forward. He is passionate and obviously wants to win badly. We are talking about FOOTBALL here. And a defensive lineman on top of that. Those are the guys that you want on your team, that if they didn’t have football you don’t know where they might end up. I want a few guys on my football team that are very very dangerous especially lineman. Unlike Suh, Hardy doesn’t play dirty.
You think he fired up those special teams guys or do you think he created a divide?
I know for a 100% fact that he fired up a whole lot of players on that football team. FACT. You know who should be cut, any player on that team who is not fired up. Each player now knows without any question that Hardy is ready to fight to win. He is not collecting a pay check he is down to go out there and lay everything on the line to win. How in the fuck could you not get fired up when you got this big, bad mother fucker telling you ‘lets go, follow me, I will fight my ass off with you and bleed for you’

You think he got the ST coach to do a better job or do you think he pissed him off?
I think he got a whole lot of NFL coaches wishing they had Hardy on their team. Moving forward, I would not want to see Hardy hit the clipboard out of another Coach’s hand. That’s it. Everything else he was saying and his passion was exactly what this team needed.

I hope Hardy is in the center of our team before every game firing everyone up moving forward.

There is a point were discipline matters. And someone who doesn’t have the discipline to not physically “assault” (for lack of the better word here) a coach is a disaster waiting to happen.

Great, he can get sacks, but when he starts losing his discipline on the field and is giving the other team a free 15 yards instead of the sack… It’s going to matter. And that is the direction he is going in. I get the passion, but I’ll point to James Harrison. One of the baddest dudes to ever put pads on… Has he ever disrespected a coach like that or played with utter disregard for discipline?

Look at the Pats. One of the winning-est franchises of the last decade plus if not 20-30 years. Even when they have srubs in there they still win. What is the common denominator among every single one of the teams? They have discipline, both on and off the field, they are coachable and they do their job. You buy in or you GTFO. Hardy would have been cut from the Pats Monday morning if he did that here. Talent or not.

One of the players that was on the Pats roster and contributed to success on the football field for them is in prison for murder.

Off field discipline is a factor in the Patriots success. L.O. Fucking L

Thank you for proving my point.

It’s not lost that you have to pick a portion of my argument to laugh at, not the entire thing.

Hardy seems like the guy who needs a good ass whooping to set him straight.

You DID just prove his point. And yes, that was reactive discipline, which is exactly what he was talking about…

Another great example is Adalius Thomas.

BB lost the locker room that year. I thought it was the beginning of the end and he WAS actually human.

Turns out I was wrong, lol.

Please explain how Hernandez is an example of the Patriots commitment to off field role models being a major factor in their on field success.

While you are at it, do you mind giving me your thoughts on the Patriots staring RB Blount?

I will link some info here about the Hernandez case here later on. Either you two are not aware of these facts or are choosing to ignore them and hope they don’t get brought up. Think back to when the Pats signed Hernandez to his second contract with the team.

For a long stretch of Harrison’s career no one was allowed to use the weight room when Harrison was in there. For their own safety.

Hardy has not shown any signs of letting his passion hurt the team with penalties. This incident happened when he came off the field after the extra point.

BB and the Pats would love to have Hardy on their team.

Then why did they show ZERO interest in him during his FA time.

Comparing the Cowboys decisions to the Patriots really boils down to this: It’s no contest who has more regular season, playoff, and Superbowl wins and appearances this century. Obviously they must be doing something right.

Again… Narrow focus in order to “win” and argument while ignoring the broader point.

I’ll be making zero further contributions to the Hernandez mumbo jumbo or any other bullshit presented that is clearly ignoring anything I actually said in an attempt to deny I’m correct that Hardy is currently showing behavior that will likely not end well for him or the team.

This is the cowboys move, win some games, then the next year JJ brings in knuckleheads to “put them over the top” and it works out great…

Tank Johnson, Pacman jones, Roy williams, and now hardy.

If Dez Bryant is the voice of reason in the locker room watch the hell out.

The Patriots knew that Hernandez had major red flags surrounding off field behaviors before they drafted him in 2010.

They structured his contract to protect them as best as they could when signing him.

No, we don’t want guys who beats the shit out of women on our teams. I don’t deny his talent, but he’s not a man, he’s a little boy in a big body. And without Romo and Dez, you ain’t gonna win no matter how many coaches he pushes or slaps the clipboards out of their hands.

But if he’s a leader on that team, I want the rest of the team to follow Hardy’s lead and interrupt huddles and push coaches around. Let the team follow his lead and see how they do.

Can someone, anyone explain how this proves Beans point? What am I missing here?

This guy is starting for the Patriots this weekend

mbdix, do you deny that Hardy beat the shit out of that woman and threw her on a couch full of weapons?
