2015 NFL Off Season

If anyone watches Deadliest Catch on discovery channel, they aired the episode which takes place during the superbowl. All the guys are hawks fans, and the reactions to the interception are priceless. I chuckle as a Browns fan, but man that had to suck losing that way while being stuck on a crab boat in the middle of the Bering sea.
It sucked big time in the comfort of my own home.

It’s too bad the NFL didn’t let her speak before the induction. A very touching speech.

Went to Colts training camp a couple days ago - looked really sharp. Crazy how big those dudes are up close (Fleener is a freaking beast). Can’t wait to see how Johnson and Gore contribute and having the speed of Hilton and Dorsett could be tough to cover. Line consistency is the weak link, but I like moving Mewhort to right tackle. Colts will put up some serious points this year (they’ll have to). They’ll obviously win their division and I see them in the AFC Championship. Just hope they don’t get embarrassed again.

(Pic I snapped of TY)

You’d have to be a real soulless bastard to not get choked up

Suck

If Smith were to actually press charges, he’d lose the locker room.

I cant see how he still has it. Dude should be a leader, not a $600 deadbeat. Fuck the jets, i hope they go 0-16 for the next decade.

The new season of Hard Knocks is awesome, featuring the Texans. JJ Watt is not human.

Football is back!

Agreed. That it even happened in the first place is kinda telling.

The NFL under Goodell has been criticized for becoming quite a mess, especially when it comes to player discipline, and deflate-gate sums that up. As soon as the parties got in front of Berman, he chided the NFL, asking, ?What is evidence of scheme or conspiracy that covers the January 18 game? I’m having trouble with that.? There never was any.

The entire process didn?t stand up to much scrutiny. The investigation was never independent, which became clearer as the process went along. The NFL never did anything to correct false information leaked to the media, information that Patriots owner Robert Kraft said he believes came from the NFL itself, which might have showed their mind was made up from the beginning. The lack of real evidence in the report was somewhat stunning, based on Wells? assertions and the NFL?s punishment. And the coup de grace of Goodell upholding at appeal what basically amounted to his own verdict really looked bad after Berman ruled against the NFL.

Fuck the NFL, Goodell should be fired, right fucking quick, imo. I assume Steeler fans agree.

This ruling reminds me of this:

Still don’t want to watch the game until Goodell is gone, I’m still butthurt, but this is too sweet to not gloat.

DOn’t even care if they appeal and get a stay…

At this point, it’s been vindicated as 100% fabricated bullshit.

Agreed. It’s been an overblown issue which shouldn’t garner more than a “meh” from mostly anyone but that’s not the reality in which we live.

I will say I’ve been having a blast trolling the haters on the facebooks this morning (much to productions detriment) … #emperorbelichick #kraftspocket #freedbrady

Just curious how all that crow you all were eating for lunch tastes guys?

annnnnd… I’m done.

I guess if Tom Brady didn’t deflate the footballs Hillary might not of sent classified emails… It’s not like either gets special treatment because of who they are.

Provide evidence of TB doing anything wrong and you’ll be rich as hell, because neither the NFL nor the people they have paid 7 figures to have to date, and the judge pointed that out.

Also… Didn’t come out in the appeal Baltimore is a bunch of butthurt liars and they certainly were the ones that started this whole nonsense? Did I read that somewhere?

I can’t because he destroyed any possible evidence that would prove his guilt. Sounds like a certain presidential nominee.

Not that I’m aware of, but I’m sure it’s possible.

No… He destroyed a phone. But gave them the records of everyone he contacted with that phone and when he did.

I didn’t know the only way to gather proof of wrong doing was a person’s cell phone, because apparently they only text themselves?

Oh… It’s possible

Ravens fold in playoffs
Tommy Gloats on podium
suddenly it’s “well known” around the league but somehow never got broken until now?

Everything about this smells like horseshit, but keep comparing it to Hilary because god forbid anyone ever eat crow on the internet.

No proof of conspiracy other than those of other teams and the league trying to beat the Pats in the newspapers because they can’t do it n the field, and the only response is “but Hilary”?

Iirc he gave them some of the records, none of the texts (they came from the equipment guys again iirc), and the NFL had 24 hours or so under close supervision to look at those records. Then he refused everything else. Further, it’s kinda hard to prove through phone records what was said over the phone.

The NFL has limited power when it investigates players and I think it’s pretty funny how you just can’t entertain the idea that a top athlete might have cheated because he’s your boy.
Unlike some people I’m not going to defend a bunch of thugs (Ravens) just because I like football and their my home team. Half of the Ravens should probably be in jail.

Why would I eat crow because some judge overturned the ruling? The NFL has almost no authority or power to investigate anything. I doesn’t surprise me that a judge would overturn the ruling for a lack of evidence.

Again, it’s hilarious that you can’t even entertain the thought that Tom got away with one here.

Dude, serious, what possible purpose would the NFL have for suspending Tom Brady (a top revenue generator)? It make ZERO sense for the NFL to have pursued this. ZERO.

You’re right though. No way golden boy Tom cheat. Just like Lance Armstrong didn’t cheat. Just like Pete Rose didn’t bet on baseball. Just like ________(insert about 1,000 examples here).

Tom should get a snap chat account, I hear the pictures go away all by themselves.
