At what point will people get their heads out of their ass and realize that Drew Brees and russel wilson are exceptions when it comes to qb size. I dont understand how people can look at 2 out of god knows how many failures and think that it will work. Makes no sense.
fuck john football, dude is going to get eaten alive.
I agree that those two are exceptions. All things being equal give me a 6’5" 250lb qb. I like Bortles as the second best qb in this draft
The quotes got to long.
If your hope is Johnny Football and you value him as being a top tier QB in the NFL fine.
Your basing this on 2 QBs vs 100’s of failures fine.
My statement has been clearly stated in regards to what they need to do.
My ability to judge football has not been questioned by anybody but you. Plus you so far are the ONLY person in this thread or on this board who thinks JF is going to be a stud.
I actually do not argue with people on here, in the Football threads I actually do not argue with people.
However I will say that we changed from a 3-4 to a 4-3 defense and did not draft a single player to help with the conversion. We ended up with the worst Defense in the league, we lose are Pro Bowl and possible HOF DE in Ware. And your answer is that if we drafted JF we would get to the Super Bowl. That Melton coming off an ACL is the answer. That our 27th ranked secondary will be fine and they are actually pretty good.
This is where there is a disconnect, I am seeing what is actually going on and you are looking through rose colored glasses.

No fucking shit! Don’t get me involved w/this. I’l turn this bitch into a Redwood.
Now onto something that matters. Thoughts on Mallet getting traded to Houston? Ahhhh yeah, didn’t see that one coming, did ya’?

I was actually saying that last week. I dont know how they would get it done though.
Right out of the box he would be better than any QB in this draft.
Sorry if you don’t argue on here. Disagreements can sometimes be a positive.
Our corners are good. Carr, and Claiborne are more than capable of being excellent corners in this league.
Our linebackers are solid. Lee and Carter if healthy make a top tier combo.
I think our D-line is going to be a surprise for some this season. With our coordinator, and Spencer and Crawford coming back and all of the signings, plus I think the Cowboys will take a couple D-lineman in this draft. Just on day two. Our D-line will be just fine.

I don’t know why this is such a difficult concept to grasp.
And even if Johnny FB is a brillant “playmaker” in the NFL… how many seasons, NO HOW MANY GAMES, is he going to last? The guy looks alot more slight that his listed weight. Seriously looks 190 to me. He is going to get broke in half by a JJ Watt-type running him down.
It’s not like this kid is Jake Matthews whose middle name is ‘durability’ (never missed a game in college due to injury). Look how banged up he was just in 2 years of college!!
C’mon man.
he’ll never start 16 games in a season.
he’ll be mike vick if he’s lucky
dear god, please do not let Ray Farmer pick him
Vick has way better physical gifts and is a better athlete than Johnny. They are about the same size.
Totally right, No way in hell he will last 16 games. I say 12, 13 if he is lucky.
His best season will never look like Vick’s best.
You know who he will be? Mark Brunell.
Yep, He’s Mark Brunell.
Is Brunell worth a top pick?

Don’t know the particulars, but I read that it’s closer then most think. Helps that O’Brien has coached him.

Haha Mallet. He has completed two passes in the NFL. One to his teammate, the other one to the defense.

That’s the extent of my knowledge on it.
I’m an Arkansas alum and fan, and I can tell you, Mallet after sitting behing and working with Brady and that coaching staff is a damn gem for any team. I would love for the Titans to trade for him. I’ve been saying that for the last two years actually.

There is no reason to trade for him. They can wait until the off-season and sign him to the practice squad.
Just heard Manziel say he was recruited by the Wyoming Cowboys out of high school. It would have been great for us but it’s a damn good thing for him he had some better choices.

Not only do you know a lot about football, you’re funny too.
According to my sources, Jadeveon Clowney will be drafted in the first round.

I have heard the same thing from my sources. So I would say don’t be surprised if he is
Great move by the Bills to get Watkins. They gave up a lot, but he will be worth it.
Fucking Buffalo. Doug Whaley needs to go throw himself over the falls. What a waste.

Bills feel like a team on the rise. They were on the cusp last season but had some really bad QB health issues. I dunno that I’m calling playoffs or anything, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see that 2015 pick land in the 15-18 range. It’s hardly ‘giving up the farm’ especially when the other pick is a 4th, no 2nds or 3rds given and they kept this years draft.
