They could have drafted Jerry Ricecake and it still wouldnt matter. EJ manuel is still the ome throwing the ball. Should have got mack. or stayed at nine for a tackle to help the run game. Unless they take a Delorian back in time to draft Mr. Perfect so he can throw himself the ball recievers are a waste. Looks like another decade of paper bag over the head shame.
I agree that was a dumb move by the Bills
lol.
Because this draft is loaded with QBs, right?
A guy like Watkins comes out very rarely. Grab him. And those guys always go high. You can get a future HOF QB in rounds 2 or lower. It’s not like Andrew Luck was on the board and there was a clear #1 QB!
I agree. They have spent the draft pick and money for Manual. To not give him weapons and people to make him successful is setting him up for failure.
Yall are much higher on Watkins than I am. Is he a very good receiver, yeah. But I think this draft was loaded with receivers that can be just as good if not better. To me the receiver position was loaded with guys this year that are really good but almost interchangeable with their skillsets and size, Watkins included. No Megatron’s or Green’s but a lot of Desean Jackson’s if that makes sense.
I dont know. Most of the experts put him as the best player in the draft period. It was him then the next level down was all the other WR.
Yeah, I know they do, and he was good, the best even, but I just don’t see the huge disparity that they claim is there.

Well, to make room for Watkins, the Bills just traded S. Johnson to the 49r’s. Crabtree, Boldin, Davis, & now Johnson. That’s stealthy!
Maybe I am wrong but that just seems like an awful fucking idea on the Bills part. Two broke down running backs, a rookie receiver, a questionable at times QB, and an TE (who is probably the best player on the offense currently).
I’m gonna be a homer here cuz Manuel is a local & my kid played w/him. But, I think he’s got to be given more then 1 yr to prove his worth. He’s got a lot that he hasn’t shown yet. He moves a lot better then most think, for one.

Oh I don’t think they should have drafted a QB. Not at all. I just don’t think drafting watkins to run routes while Manuel gets sacked and throws picks is a good way to spend 2 first round draft picks. It would have been better to get Lewan at nine so Manuel would have more time to work with the receivers he already had, or to keep building that defense. Oh well, guess that’s why I’m not GM. Hope I’m wrong.

I agree to a point, but with a real threat and a guy who has shown to have YAC this could also get the ball out of his hand quicker to avoid those sacks.

He is amazing in the screen game, something that isn’t exactly ineffective at the NFL level. Could be an amazing safety valve for a pressured QB. He also has a fantastic skillset for broken plays if Manuel can run around just enough to find him.

So week 2?
as long as Hoyer doesnt try to slide he should be alright. The one thing i loved about watching him play was that he knows what’s going on, and when to get rid of the ball. Basically he’s a competent NFL qb, which is something not seen Cleveland since Bernie.

Just busting your balls man.

You are not wrong. They moved up four spots! They gave up next years 1st round pick. Now if this rumor of Johnson is true about getting traded!? Sammy Watkins looks to be a good receiver that has had off the field drug charges, injuries, and he is 6’ and 3/4"s tall. Going to a team that the qb position is a huge ?!.

Either QB still needs a good OL.
So you want to put a friendly wager on Manziel?
Yes, I am good with that
Avi
let’s hear the bet. I’m sure we can work out an avi price
Manziel will not make it the full 16 games this year if he is a day one starter.
Dude, I have a hard time betting on health, and injuries. Just seems kinda fucked up to me. How about point blank right now, Manziel is Offensive rookie of the year next year?

Yeah, I know, that’s why I said on page one I would not be against taking an O-lineman with the 16th pick, that your boy had a huge problem with.

Josh Gordon would be the league MVP then.
Yeah you are a lucky fan next year. Gordan, and Manziel? Going to be special. Gordan is a damn good receiver. I would be looking for a RB today if I was the Browns.

We got Ben Tate in free agency, don’t think we’re drafting a RB in 2nd or 3rd rounds(as big of a Carlos Hyde fan as I am). I’m thinking Guard and Right Tackle.

I like Tate a little bit. And I always like picking up more O-lineman. I would be looking at Sankey out of Washington. I don’t know where you would have to draft him, but if I was a Browns fan, I would want Sankey.

Well maybe the following year. Gordan is out next year. 1 year suspension. They need to look at reciever
