Yep and future NFL HOFer too.
You can put me on record that this kid will not go in the 1st round.
Why do you say that after his dominant performance last night?

It’s college ball after 30 years of watching college ball there have been many, many great college QBs. Looking at you Tim Tebow.

The kid is awesome but he better grow some height or put on 20 pounds of muscle, no way he runs around like that at next level.

6’1" and 200 lbs isn’t horrible for a freshman quarterback. I think he’ll add some bulk in the off season. TAMU strength and conditioning program is no joke. He was much smaller in H.S.

Agreed, also going to be who needs a QB and what system they run. There are always variants, but NFL coaches want over 6’2" and 220+ just to take pounding of 16+ games a year.

Johnny Football is important not because of his NFL potential and “upside,” but because for whatever reason, a Division 1 SEC team got in line behind that kid and got after it all season long. When there’s linebackers from UF saying “give him the Heisman” in week 10, there’s something special.

Also too? The rest of the SEC is going to have to gameplan (and recruit) with him in mind. I think we’re going to see SEC schools perhaps drop off in national competition because they’re built differently.
