I used to LOVE getting the new Madden, but I think they stopped being able to come up with anything new about five years ago. If they took those features out now on top of it, I’d rather just play with one of those electric boards that rattles the little player figurines around.

soooo i bought it. No fantasy draft and no franchise mode. you have to do a coach thing and earn XP and shit. I just want to draft a team, and play games!!! I sent an angry email to easports about it.
RE Madden: Last one I bought was 2008 for PC. There is a pretty pimp mod community and I’ll play when I’m not reading economics, Game of Thrones or playing Civ IV.

Im a 30pt loser against DJ this week. I think the next few weeks will be miserable for me. This may become my worst fantasy team ever. Out of 13 teams over 5 years, Ive never went below a .500 standing. I foresee that changing.

I get - Gronk, Jonathan Dwyer, CJ Spiller (I already have Fred Jackson)
I give up - Hernandez, Green-Ellis, and Nate Washington
Notes: My other starting RB is Trent Richardson. I am somewhat weak at WR, but Washington is not a starter. This is a standard scoring league (no PPR). I also have Kevin Smith and Isaac Redman as backup RBs. The guy that proposed the trade overpaid for Gronk and Spiller and wants to clean it up. I’m not sure who else he has (other than Ray Rice and Brees) to deal.
I am thinking of pulling the trigger, but I’m not 100% sold that Gronk is going to out-perform Hernandez this year, and definitely not sure that he will outperform him by enough to make this trade worth it since I would be giving up a starting RB for what essentially amounts to a handcuff and waiver-fodder.
