Listening to Mike and Mike in the morning today. They said IF Dallas loses the series, Dirk will not get the same blame when Bron got swept by the Spurs. Most people are already saying that Dirk doesn’t have enough help.
But he does have a better team than the Cavs that year. Their two reasons, most people hate Bron and Bron is thought of as the superior player.
Imagine the flack Bron would have got if he had missed a last second shot as Dirk did against Miami on Sunday.
^^its cause he’s black.
Dirks allowed to miss cause white guys aren’t supposed to be good at basketball.
amirightguys? Lol

Haha, I bet you my 49er Charles Haley jersey that Miami wins tonight.
Deal. I’ll put up my half burned Cleveland Cavilers LeBron James jersey as collateral. I’ll even paint a 6 over the 23 for ya
First let me take off the urine smell on the 49er jersey if I have to give it to you. I’ll paint two blue stars on the shoulders for you.

You know what is crazy, Jay Kidd is 3rd all time in 3 pointers made in the history of the NBA lol how he pulled that off I have no idea.

when you play in the league for 37 years you’re bound to rack up some stats hahaha
This. He’s old and shoots alot of 3’s.
I was a huge Jason Kidd fan when he played for the Nets and loved that lineup they had (Kidd/Kenyon/Jefferson). But fuck, that guys missed a shitload of 3’s even back then. He’s not afraid to miss the 3. Look at his 3 point percentage over the years. Is pretty crappy for someone who shoots them as often as he does.
lol Yes, he has been in the league for a couple decades. He just always had a rep for being an atrocious 3 point shooter. He shoots 35% for his career i believe which isn’t great but for reference Kobe shoots 34%. 3rd on any list in the NBA is nothing to scoff at idc how long you played. He came into the league with no J whatsoever and has turned himself into a decent shooter, pretty crazy.

lmao Miami won and Bron is still getting shit for it.
Dirk should have taken his talents to south beach when he had the chance smh
As for Mark Jackson becoming head coach…
I feel sorry for the Warriors, they’re going to have constantly hear these awful cliches every timeout.
“ you are better than THIS!”
“Mama there goes that man”

I’m a Warrior fan, and I hope he does something to change the culture around here.

He was a bad 3pt shooter when he was younger, but he worked on it once he got older because he had to do something to stay in the game. In other words, his career 3p% has been brought up a lot with what he’s done the last few years (discluding this year)

I was always nervous when he was winding up for a 3 in big games when he played for the Nets. His percentage wasn’t good, but he used to hit the important ones.

I giggled that you didn’t include Vince (assuming it was unintentional, that’s hilarious)

Probably because he wasn’t there for the 2 Finals runs in 2002 and 2003

LOL, nah I hated the Nets after they traded Kenyon Martin. I actually loved Vince Carter’s game but it couldn’t overcome my hatred of the Nets. I live less than 10 miles from where they play and can’t wait for them to GTFO and go to Brooklyn.

Yup. They dismantled one of my favorite lineups of all time. I was also fan during the Coleman/Kenny Anderson era. I hated Marbury so that also killed it for me in the late 90’s.
^^^^Dude, Special K and DC!!! Goddamn those 2 could’ve been something serious. Some players just start getting those fat checks and stop caring. And, even though Marbury is a selfish spoiled brat, that motherfucker can play ball FOR REAL. If his head was screwed on straight he could’ve been an all-timer.
Mavs will win tonight because Terry will make some THREEEEEEEES.
tonight is going to be an interesting game!!!
Jason Terry called out LeBrons defense… I wanna see how this works out

What’d he say? And while I think James’s defense is super overrated, you probably shouldn’t be talking shit when you’re missing wide open shots all series long.

Yeah, they could’ve but I think Petrovic dieing in that car crash really had an impact. I loved watching that team especially Petro. I was also born in Yugoslavia like him, so seeing someone from my country make the NBA back then was a huge deal.
Marbury had sick moves, almost as good as AI, but he was a straight up headcase. I couldn’t stand him.
