lol you didn’t take me up on my offer in time, smart ass ![]()
The mavs are really missing butler in this series, dirk is doing everything but no one is giving him any help.
Not a good effort…and I’ll say as a Mavs fan that we were getting A LOT of calls down the stretch.
Man Wade must be the most hated man in Texas at this point.
Is anyone predicting Dirk will drop 45-50 at some point in this series? After watching the first 3 games it seems unlikely. He’s not getting to line enough.
The Mavs were down too many times in this game. They came back every single time but you can’t expect to come out on top if you’re playing up and down like that. Score needed to be 95+ for the Mavs to win at home.
It seemed like Barea had a million open looks that game but couldn’t hit any. It’s like some of them are running out of steam.
Rooting for the Mavs is like loving a whore… it just hurts so much haha. I thought it would be different this year but no… lol.

Perfect analogy, gonna go cry myself to sleep
That’s two.
Miami will win Tuesday, lose Thursday, then close out Dallas on Sunday in Miami.
Was Jason Kidd trying to throw this game? He had at least 4 BLATANT turnovers where he literally threw the ball in to a wide open Heat players’ hands. The Mavs as a whole are still not shooting well, and I’m starting to think that they’re just not gonna “snap out of it”. If Marion doesn’t throw the ball over the stanction on a wide open dunk attempt, or Kidd doesn’t hand the other team the ball, or Barrea makes even one of those wide open 3’s Dallas wins this game. I really hate to say it, 'cause I fucking hate the Heat, but it’s looking like they’re gonna take this. Dallas needs the next 2 games like no other, and even then they’re fighting an uphill battle.

It’s looking like Kidd’s age is catching up to him. This is Dallas’s 97th game. I think that’s really all it is. Lets not forget that HUGE fuck up at the end of game 2 where he didn’t cover Chalmers.
^^^ There were at least 3 plays in the first half in a 5 or so minute span where he threw the ball out of bounds, threw it at Chandlers feet then handed it to someone on the Heat. I was ready to kick my tv.
Dirk also makes some bad passes…
Anybody catch the Bosh interview on ESPN? Dude is in tears… haha yeah I know it’s from being poked in the eye but still hilarious…

Woulda, coulda, shoulda. That’s what I said when Miami lost Thursday.
I was watching the game with a friend who’s a Mavs fan, and he said it looks like Dallas’ shooters are thinking about the Heat defenders instead of the basket.
As much as I like Kidd, he’s old! Oldest PG in Finals history. He can’t break anyone down anymore, so he can only pass or shoot.
One day of rest than Dallas’ old legs gotta give it a go on Tuesday. Hopefully Miami plays a complete game and puts them to rest and goes up 3-1.

That was Terry’s man. But I agree he looks tired.
Man, what is up with Bosh hesitating just about every time he gets the ball? He should either shoot or drive or pass, but stop with the pulling the ball up and playing with the defender. He gives the Mavs way too much time to smother him. He needs to play with some anger in him. I’m not seeing it…and please nobody use any clips of him making a sick shot or dunk; don’t defend a pattern of behavior with a few instances of brilliance. You know what I’m talking about here.
Wade was playing out of his mind. I don’t care if you hate the Heat, at least be a standup spectator and lover of ball and admit that.
And I think that losing a 15 pt lead last game and just BARELY winning this game says more about Miami than Dallas. And I don’t mean that in a good way.
MIA has a tougher time holding a lead than DAL has closing the lead, so far in these playoffs, but that also holds for MIA during regular season.
Agree?
I want to call Barkeley and yell: “Charles…THAT’S A HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH EYE-Q PLAY!”
EDIT: Mavs’ D was horrendous this game. Wade and James were just playing with them.
Why isn’t Spoelstra playing Ilgauskas? He isn’t listed as injured.

that is so true.
I don’t want another 2006
What a great game. I was drywalling my dining room so I watched the 1st and 4th and listened to the 2nd and 3rd.
Bosh is a bitch. When he was rolling around on the floor while the Mavs capitalized on a 5 on 4, I thought he tore his knee up or at least rolled his ankle. Poked in the eye? How does that send you to the ground for 2 plays? Outside of that last shot, he was playing like a scared little kid. Shoot the fucking ball.
Wade was off the hook. I can’t believe I heard his name and overrated in this thread. If it was said about Lebron, I’d understand. But we’re talking about a guy who’s never won an MVP and can shoot, take it to the hole, post up, and hustles his ass off on D. He came out determined to win last night and there was nothing Kidd could do to slow him down.
If the Heat got all the calls game 1, Dallas got all the calls last night. It seemed like every loose ball or rebound turned into a loose ball foul on Miami. They took the ball to the basket more aggressively than the Mavs and still shot about only half as many free throws (15 vs.27).
The press loves to hate Miami. Even after a hard fought victory, they had to throw some bullshit out there during the press conference. I’m mostly referring to the Doyel’s question about why Lebron’s shrinking during the 4th quarter at the moment when “superstars become superstars”. Jerkoff…They fuckin’ won.
I generally don’t like Lebron, but I loved his response.
