Someone…anyone…
You have my guarantee. In fact he won’t even get up to 45 ONCE during the series.

Heat in 6. But lose game 1.
I think Dallas consistently hitting open shots from the outside will be a shock to Miami. Just like Chicago’s D was a shock to them in game 1.

Let’s go MAVS!!! I have a feeling the heat are gonna take it in 6 tho… haha.

Even if it was just for the entertainment factor. I’m not sure having a guy like AI on your team right now is a great idea for the long term but there were plenty of teams that were just spinning the wheels this year anyway.

It was pretty clear that in Iverson’s mind he was still “the answer”, while in reality he was “a liability”. He wouldn’t accept a lesser role, complained publicly about everything, made excuses for his bad play and was just an overall cancer in the locker room. He’s also apperantly a giant asshole. When you’re one of the leagues 5 best players you can get away with that. When you’re an aging superstar who’s well past his prime, you can’t. He just burned too many bridges and got ushered out of the league.
Good points, I see where you’re coming from.

People why do we always need to be hyperbolic? He will score 45 at least once, and he will not score 50 every single night. That is my super bold prediction of the week.

Freaking stoked for tonight. Got MIA in 7 based solely on homecourt - these teams IMO are very even overall, but their styles are SO different it makes it hard to guess what is going to happen when they go head-to-head.

The Heat tend to over-rotate on D and will give DAL some open shots. I think they will adjust though. And I have no clue if DAL’s zone will be a roaring success or an abject failure against MIA. Comes down to MIA’s role players making open 3s.

Either team could win by 20 tonight and I would not be totally surprised.

basketball tonighhhhht

lol, I’m not even being hyperbolic. I truly believe that he will not score 45 or over in any game during the series unless its something crazy like triple OT.

Scoring 40+ in a playoff game [especially a Finals game] is no joke. Yeah, Nowitzki did it twice last series, but he also shot an ungodly amount of ft’s and had one game where he only got 19 on like 7-21. What I’m saying is, I doubt he gets 40+ this series, but wouldn’t be shocked if he busted it at least once. Also, I expect these games to be freethrow-athons. You have James and Wade on one side, and Nowitzki on the other. Those 3 guys might get 50 ft’s between 'em.

Think if Dallas is gonna win one on the road, it’s gonna be tonight. Still think Dallas takes this in 6, but I’m interested to see how tonight plays out.

I’ll be at Game 4 in Dallas if all goes according to plan. Best part is it will be part of a business trip, virtually no expenses on my behalf.

^ You lucky son of a bitch haha.

Dirk is averaging 28 points per game in the playoffs.
He’s shooting 52% from the field
He’s shooting 52% from 3 point land
He’s shooting 93% from the freethrow line

He’s only (not saying “only” like it’s a small feat or anything) had a 40+ point game twice so far in the playoffs so I don’t see him puttin up 45+ points in this series. I could see him throwing up 35 in every game though

Go MAVS!!!

if the fucking heat win ill never be able to watch sportscenter again cause they’ll be riding lebrons d the whole summer.

Go mavs

Remember it’s 2-3-2 format for the finals so if DAL wins tonight they’ll go for a win in 5 if they hold home court.

Would you believe it if I told you the road team has actually swept those middle three games more often than the home team has?

Jason Terry says he’ll get his NBA championship trophy tattoo removed if the Mavs lose this series. More drama!

I think the 2-3-2 format sucks balls

It tastes like Drano in my mouth, but I’ve got to say it: The Miami Heat are pulling off one of the greatest I Told You So’s in the history of American sports.

I hate how they conspired. Hate how they manipulated. Hate how they went behind the backs of the GMs and the league and their own teammates to pull off something so audacious it threatens to ruin the very fabric of the league.

And yet they’re doing the single hardest thing in sports. They’re living up to the hype…

…Look, I’d rather see Donald Trump on the $5 bill than see the Miami Heat win this championship. Three superstars colluding to win a ring would be the worst thing to happen to the NBA since The Gold Club.

That’s right. Shit, thinking about it this might go 7. Think Dallas wins tonight, goes 2-3 at home and then it gets interesting. They’re still up 3-2, but it’s gonna be hard to close out Miami at home in back-to-back away games. Still saying Mavs in 6, but that’s just 'cause I don’t want to backpeddle, haha. This is gonna be an awesome series.

Yes, because the road team is typically the worse team.
