Bad shots? Those two step back jumpers were bad shots? he had a great look on the first one… He should have gone to the basket on one of those but he had a great look on the first and the second wasnt bad either.
Because Lebron has a huge height advantage over Rose.

he has a huge height advantage but didnt rose still get two good looks?

LBJ scored more than a third of their points points last night. How is that not a standout game?
He did not take over the game or shoot a good percentage.

When there’s such a huge height advantage the defender can heavily affect that shot. Just because they weren’t blocks and within Rose’s range, does not make them good opportunities.

I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree and just wait for the Finals :stuck_out_tongue:

to put it in perspective, Lebron had to take 26 shots to get to 35 points. He shot 11 for 26.

I would consider Bosh’s game 3 performance a standout game. Scored a ton and shot very well.

and someone deleted me off Facebook because of my pro-Heat updates LOL

he scored 35 of the teams 101 points and had 6 assists. thats a pretty standout game if you ask me

Fair enough.

If the Heat wind up playing the Mavs [and at this point it’s pretty much a foregone conclusion], they’re in a world of trouble. Miami is not beating Chicago, Chicago’s beating themselves. The Heat’s defense is being given way too much credit, and will be exposed when they play the Mavs. The Mavs ball movement is too crisp and too fast, their shooters are too accurate and they have no one that can match up with Nowitzki. Like I said earlier, Mavs in 6.

knock on wood so I don’t jinx them tonight, but…

People act like Miami’s defense is ustoppable and the Mavs’ suck. Heat have allowed 89 ppg, the Mavs 92 (and the Bulls 88). Dallas has the best defense in the WC. Before the Thunder, the Mavs hadn’t allowed 100 points in any game in the playoffs.

The Mavs will play zone and force the Heat’s shooters to win the game. When they aren’t in zone, Stevenson/Marion can check Lebron, Stevenson/Kidd/Marion can check Wade and Chandler will destroy Bosh. They will play loose and dare them to shoot the ball. There might even be a Corey Brewer sighting. And before you talk shit about Kidd being old, he’s successfully guarded Kobe and Westbrook already. Nobody on the Heat is faster than Westbrook.

Mavs bench destroys the Heat bench, you could even argue Mavs bench is the best in the league and Heat is the worst.

As far as offense, Mavs will be the best the Heat have faced by far.

Heat fans need to quit drinking their own koolaid

x2. Also, were you chanting “Barkley Sucks!”? lol
1 - crazy buzz in the arena. You can see why James must think he actually is a god, the way that crowd treats him. The other guy who gets nearly as much love? Haslem

2 - those Barkley sucks chants were going on pre-game and post-game. What you don’t catch from TV coverage is just how much Chuck is egging on the crowd during commercial breaks. Very entertaining.

3 - Joe Jeezy and Josh Smith arrived while I was still outside the arena trying to book my return flight home. Johnson easily had ~50k around his neck but I expected MUCH better groupie talent outta the A.

Yeah I also agree that DAL can beat MIA. The tough thing is they’ll almost certainly have to close it out on the road (ie. I don’t see them winning in 5 games)

This is also the only year that DAL can beat MIA. I don’t see that happening at all with this DAL squad even one year older. Just hope they can pull it off before their window-of-opportunity closes…

Personally, I think Wade and Lebron can tear down any defense the Mavs throw at them.

Everyone here is talking about how nobody can guard Dirk, but who on the Mavs can shutdown Wade AND Lebron?

James gets more love than Wade? In Miami? That’s crazy. That’s funny about the ATL broads. I’ve been around a handful of NBA cats in different situations, and there’s about a 50/50 fine to busted ratio on the broads they’re with. I will say that the chick I’ve seen Bob Sura with a few times is one of the best looking women I’ve ever seen. She’s hot as fuck.

I think Marion may be able to check Lebron, but I don’t see Stevenson or Kidd being able to slow down Wade.

I’m really not sure what to expect of Mike Brown in LA. LAL is hard team to predict IMO.

Did you guys see the ratings for this years playoffs? They’re through the roof apparently.

Raj, you’re as bad about the Heat as Rand is with the Lakers. The Heat beat an old, split up Boston [don’t care what anyone says, losing Perk was huge and the Heat were 0-3 against Boston with him in the line up], and are now beating a Chicago team that can’t hit open shots to save their lives. Dallas is firing on all cylinders, and is too focused and too good to lose. Miami’s done, and this year is their best chance of winning 'cause Chicago will be a year older and stronger next year, and will surely make moves to shore up their offense this off-season. There will also be other teams that will put up a solid fight against the Heat. If they don’t win this year, and they won’t, their window is all but shut. Mavs in 6.

Well, you don’t really have to raj. Remember, there’s only ball out there (and MIA still seems confused about who their closer should be)

I think its the novelty factor. They know that Wade already knows he’s always been their guy so it’s like an extended welcome for the newcomer.

Best NBA groupies I’ve seen were back when Las Palmas was the wed night spot out here. A friend had her bday dinner there so were able to get in early and stay. Around 10:30pm, Heff and his entourage got to their booth which was adjacent to Dr Buss’s booth. And then around 11:30pm, the Lakers showed up (it was game night). The talent that was hounding Foxy and D Fish and Horry were simply insane…
