My Red Wings lost a tough one last night. They’ll come back though… they always do. Phoenix is definitely no joke. I’m glad to see a lot of other hockey fans here!
Hey, there are no rules about living near the team you like. Besides, I’ve heard that 1000 times from Hawks fans around here; I’ve followed the Red Wings since I started watching hockey in the late 90’s. Yzerman, Shanahan, Federov, Lidstrom… Those were the guys that made me love hockey. Plus the Blackhawks sucked for so long I was never really interested in them.
All I have to say is my liver better be praying the Wing’s win it big, unless its going to be one of those “lets pretend we’re 18 year old alcoholic nights”
ok…The wings are hot…but the JUST got hot…I think they won’t make it too far…also the Blackhawks with Patrick Kane are really good…id watch out for them. The Coyotes are a MAAAAJOR sleeper…I can’t believe people are overlooking them! Pens will wake up eventually…they looked overpowered the first game tho! AVS have to be this years Cinderella story…hopefully they make some good gains in the playoffs. Overall should be exciting but screw it…im A RANGERS FAN! and PROUD of it! We just sucked this year lol

Detroit “just got hot” because they just got their whole team back together. They had a dozen regulars out at various points this year and had to make do with minor league players. I was surprised they played as well as they did given the way that went. But Chicago is definitely talented, if they can play some defense from time to time, lol.
Anyone see that monster hit in the Pittsburgh-Ottawa game? Clean or dirty? My vote is good hit, KEEP YA HEAD UP BOI.

Let’s go Avs! Bring it home up 2-0!
Lol, they got it. They’re solid and San Jose forgets how to play in the playoffs every year. :p
The Sharks will finally realize that it doesn’t matter how many points they racked up in the regular season, they’re still going to choke in the playoffs.

Well you could have at least watched them on TV!!!

Sid+Malkin is just too good to stop. Fleury needs to step it up but the Pens got this.
Isn’t Malkin injured?
He had 2 pp goals last night, pretty good if he isn’t 100%. But, he’s at least playing.
I thought he was out. Definitely a very talented player, I thought he was better than Cindy when the Wings met them year before last. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t make it far this year, Wings fans know, hangovers can be a bitch.

X2
Malkin is definitely better than Crosby IMO. And he’s not such a whiny baby prima donna like Cindy.
Wings did what they had to do, Go out west and get a split. Hopefully we can take two at the Joe from the young Yotes. BTW, doesn’t it seem like Shane Doans been with the Jets/Phoenix for like 25 years…
Go Wings! and Go Habs tonight.
