Definitely excited… Go Bruins! Barring an injury to the best goalie in the league (Tuukka Rask), they should make it all the way to the Caps.
I’m right there with you. Rearranged my lifts this week so Wednesday could be my off day, couch press here I come.
BTW how are you a Wings fan Rico?
Met Gordie Howe when I was 6years old at a hockey tournament and he had some very constructive criticism for me. I ended up playing 2years up the following year - he was pretty big inspiration. I met Orr the following year at the same tournament and said he wanted to be my manager when I was older haha. But yeah, also Stevie Y has been my favourite player since I was a little kid and I just never looked back. I think it was the goal against St. Louis in OT which fully converted me from a Leafs to Wings fan.
PS. Am I the only person who is going to suffer from the playoffs regarding exams? Uggh

Yep vs. Tampa. Was so sad.
My second worst memory, Gary Bettman’s speech following the Hurricane’s stanley cup victory vs. edmonton.

Those are some damn good reasons. I think Yzerman is my favorite non-Shark that I have seen play.
I graduated college last year, and had exams the same week that the Sharks lost to the Ducks in the first round. I don’t think I spoke to my girlfriend or house mates for 2-3 days ha.
Glad the Bruins got the second overall pick last night as well.
Tonight - It begins! I’ll be watching the Sens v. Pens game.

Definitely a good thing. Should make next season very interesting indeed. Can’t wait till tomorrow night though to see how they do when it comes to playoff hockey. Mainly want to see how Tuukka handles it.
I would be fine with the Senators beating out the Penguins in the first round. As much as the NHL would hate it to have Crosby go out so early, I dislike teams repeating and would rather have some other players get deeper into the playoffs.
Sharks need to rip the Avs tonight and build some confidence, Nabby needs to shine.
As much as I respect the Wings, I hope the Coyotes take that series. The Wings have had plenty of Cup glory.
I’m thinking the Olympic Gold Medal winning goalie is getting back on his game, plus the Art Ross trophy winner (plus his healthy twin) leads to a deep run, but I might be biased. The only prediction I’ll make is that this year, the West (Hawks, Det, Van, or SJ) will make the East (WSH, Pit, maybe Buf) look like chumps in 5.
Great effort by the Flyers. Decent game, not great. Boucher made some really good stops, should give him alot of confidence. I was telling my wife that every goal is going to be like the Pronger goal, battle in front of the net, no shots from outside the hash marks…five seconds later Richie snipes one lol. Carter is still not 100% and probably never will be for the playoffs.
Nice to see the Senators put a scare into the Pens.

fuckn great, history is repeating itself for the sharks.
Even the baby Sharks. I’m a fan of the Worcester Sharks and they won the Atlantic division, broke all kinds of records for the franchise this season and then, from what I’ve read, came out with no intensity and lost game 1. Every time they’ve been in the playoffs (4 times) they’ve lost game one of the opening series. Guess we’ll see if they can turn it around.
