Harrison went off last year at the end of the season, but the browns never liked him for some reason, Peyton Hillis took the job from him w/o giving harrison too much leash, and they drafted Hardesty as well. I think Bell is as average as it gets, Harrison def more talented
Thank the fucking lord for that pick6 at the end of the jets game. Thank you Christ.
WOW!
(I know I’m like 2 pages late bastards, I don’t care either. ;))

Eagles trade Mike Bell for Jerome Harrison, thoughts everyone?
I think Eagles got the better deal out of this one. I have a feeling McCoy and Harrison is gonna be a sick tandem.
Harrison is a great addition of the Eagles. He is a superior talent, but was always stuck in the dog house in Cleveland. I think it was a great move by Philly.
Yeah I think he’s gonna compliment McCoy well, who’s playing very good (he has more fantasy points then Cj!!)

5 years ago I dont think he would be available. I know he is basically shot, but he was a good back and a feature back for a while, in that offense he may be somewhat successful short term…I do think its a good pick up either way for NO, maybe theyll catch lightning in a bottle.
“Coach Sean Payton clarified that Julius Jones would serve only as the Saints’ No. 3 back in Week 6 should Pierre Thomas not play. ‘It’s really just an additional back,’ Payton said. ‘I’ve seen it perceived as that we’re disappointed with the other two, and that wouldn’t be the case. It’s really to have depth.’” -Rotoworld
Sounds pretty far from lightning in a bottle to me…
i think harrison has talent but he’s more of a role player in a sense that he needs all the pieces to be there in order to have a good game. Guys like CJ or AP don’t need a great line to be productive they find the holes and run through like a freight train. Harrison although talented had a thigh injury in week 3 so he might be slowed by that, but he does need a decent line to block for him to be productive and he needs a lot of carries to get into that groove.
ultimately i like the trade for philly tho. behind mccoy they don’t really have anyone and harrison brings a legit threat. dunno wtf the browns are doing these days.

Gotcha…we will agree to disagree, I still say hes better than Ivory or Betts and still think he is a decent pickup. FTR I didnt say he will be lightning in a bottle I said maybe he will be lightning in a bottle.
Also maybe just maybe could Payton be giving coach speak as to not upset the backs already on the roster? If he was so pleased with his current back situation why sign Jones?
^ Hell he needs depth, his first two are hurt. What is the deal, he is not the second coming. Matty I agree with you, like I said, there is potential for him to explode. He is a NFL running back, sometimes it is just a scheme thing. Never thought Thomas was that special but he excells in Payton’s offense. Honestly hate to say it but as long as Bush is out people will not respect the run and drop in to a nickel defense against the Saints.
Yeah I agree,
DJ…Are you nervous for this weeks Dallas Vikes game? Not busting balls, its just so important.
I have Romo and Jones in my big money league, so I def will be rooting for the boys

There is no potential for him to explode. I’m not trying to make a big deal out of this, but I just really don’t think he’s going to make any noise. I see him in the light of Willie Parker and Larry Johnson, once explosive backs who have good name association, but who are far past their prime.
Just having a good gentlemanly convo here, that’s what this thread is for.

What are everyones thoughts on Wade? I can’t believe he’s still the coach down there, but as a 49ers fan I hope he stays, as I would love to steal Jason Garret away and hire him as our HC.
wade is doing the same thing he did in buffalo… failing
^lol…I really dislike Wade
Ever since he didnt give the Giants credit for beating them a few years ago

Not sure if you saw this…Justin Bieber disses Tom Brady’s hair in his “rap.”
I caught the TOCHO show the other day and they were talking about how Brady’s hair is just like Bieber’s. Really dumb show but I thought that part was funny.
Chiefs gonna beat the texans 17-14. BOOM!!!
