I AM OFFICIALLY PLACING A MORATORIUM ON ALL BRETT FAVRE TALK UNTIL WEEK 1 OF THE NFL SEASON

-Arizona will not win the division, they won’t even finish second. Have you seen Leinart play?
-Maroney won’t even break the 1000 yard mark, injuries will consume him
-I do agree that the Giants will rebound, Eli is a very underrated QB
-I’ma 49ers fan, but think the Raiders could be a very interesting team this year
-NFC East is the toughest division this year, NFC West is the weakest
-Wol smokes dope before writing his posts, fact
-Ryan Matthews will not be the Offensive ROY, Rolando McLain will be the Defensive ROY

-I love football

I see the Steelers year going a little something like this:

Atlanta vs Pitt(H)—W
Pitt @ Tenn----------L
Pitt @ TB------------W
Balt vs Pitt(H)------L
Bye
Clev vs Pitt(H)------W
Pitt @ Mia-----------L
Pitt @ NO------------L
Pitt @ Cin-----------W
NE vs Pitt(H)--------L
Oak vs Pitt(H)-------W
Pitt @ Buff----------W
Pitt @ Balt----------W
Cin vs Pitt(H)-------W
Jets vs Pitt(H)------L
Car vs Pitt(H)-------W
Pitt @ Cle-----------W

Three Sunday night games and two Monday night games. Yep, the leauge does pander to the mighty Black and Gold. I’m biased but I don’t blame them…$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Folks love to watch the Steelers play, simple as that.

They seem to screw the pooch with Oakland and I could see them falling asleep with another team or two, maybe Carolina. All in all they could get ten wins with some luck and health. Then again that’s what every team is saying right now lol.

They have got to get their special teams in order. That unit cost them a couple of wins last year.

Alot of people point out that losing Troy for the season last year was a big reason the defence couldn’t get off the field but I think losing Aaron Smith was fucking huge.

Rex Ryan is a breath of fresh air for sure but I bet some of his players are wishing he would stop fucking promising wins and titles.

I think what Haynesworth is doing is hysterical. Fuck you Shanny! lol. Who’s going to blink first? I think management will. One small injury to another lineman and he’s right in there like a dirty shirt sans test.

DJHT…Pitt picked up F.Adams a few weeks ago. What do you expect him to do for the OL. The team saw something but I wanted to hear a fans perspective on this guy.

Exactly thats why I said Derek Anderson will be starting 4 games into the season.
Maroney will break 1000 and score 12, had a very good second half
Crabtree will grab 70 balls and have at least 8 scores and 1000 yds
Vdavis will fall back to bust status

I’m very excited about Crabtree, he looks primed to explode. I disagree about Davis, I think he’ll draw more coverage, but he is a match-up nightmare and should excel again this year.

If Derek Anderson does anything, I will give you mad props.

Maroney and Barber are very similar to me, and I just don’t think either can hold up for an entire season, and both play in very crowded backfields. I think the Patriots Law Firm (Ben Jarvis Green Ellis) and Felix Jones are both better options on their respective teams.

I think the Raiders will win the AFC West this year.

Does anybody know where one who does not have HBO could view Hard Knocks? I think this season will be one of the best things on TV this year

Adams is good against people like Strahan that build, small speedy guys like Dumervil not that good. He has lost a step, running game he is solid. He is deaf 100% legally deaf in his right ear, so in loud stadiums will have frustrating false starts. He will protect your QB no matter what it takes, legal or illegal.
And sorry man I do not think Steelers can beat Atlanta with no Big Ben on that first game. Looking at 1-4 with Ben out. After that who knows.

Barber in my opinion is a finisher, second back, 4 min offense type, never meant to be the work horse. What I have seen this year Jones is going to be the starter.
Dont know if Anderson will do anything for Arizona but he will be the starter.
Raiders over San Diego? I think it will be close but I think the bolts pull it out this year.
Hard Knocks I have no advice, maybe online.

^Thanks for the info on Adams. I can’t wait to see Ray Lewis and Adams battle.

If the Steelers were travelling to Atlanta for that game I definetly would have picked Atlanta.

Hey its your team, you got to go with your gut. I have a hard time being objective with my team also. I will watch Ray against Flo this year, cause that is two guys I would not want to meet in a dark alley. Both are mean MF no doubt.

If they do I’ll eat my fucking television. Dirty wankers. They won’t though Campell is no great shakes, McFadden is crap, Bush is average, they have no receivers and an average defense. The west will be 1. Bolts 2.Chiefs 3. Raiders 4. Broncos.

Here’s a pick of that blue sticker on the back of the Cowboy’s helmets I was talking about.

I have no clue, weird. Hell probably a Jerry Jones advertisment. Buy Pepsi or Papa Johns Pizza.

The rectangle is just there first initial and last name.

Oh S.N.A.P.!

(AP)â??Rex Ryanâ??s Super Bowl guarantee is now in writing.

The New York Jets coach was asked to sign his teamâ??s logo sticker on the back of ESPNâ??s tour bus at training camp Thursday, a few hours after Joe Namath watched practice. Instead of just signing his name, the brash Ryan wrote: â??Soon to be Champs.â??

â??Iâ??ve got confidence to put it up there,â?? Ryan said Friday between practices. â??I donâ??t have to just put, â??Go, so-and-so.â?? Yeah, whatever. To me, I believe weâ??ll do it, so why wouldnâ??t we say it? Why wouldnâ??t we go for it?â??

ESPNâ??s Adam Schefter, who was aboard the bus, wrote in his column on ESPN.com that Ryan was the first this summer to write anything other than their name.

â??Iâ??m not apologizing,â?? Ryan said. â??I just know whatâ??s going to happen. My crystal ball, Iâ??m seeing a Super Bowl trophy in there. Now, I could be wrong, but thatâ??s what I see. But everytime I go to work, thatâ??s what I look at.â??

Ryan has said many times that the Jets are a Super Bowl-caliber team, and has irritated some fans, opposing players and media with his bold, sometimes-outrageous comments.

â??I donâ??t care if people donâ??t like it or whatever: â??Oh, just shut up and win something,â??â?? he said. â??Iâ??ve won a lot more than that person writing it, I can promise you. And, Iâ??ve been there. My familyâ??s been to a bunch of these things and I know how to get there. The first step is, if you donâ??t believe it yourself, your team darned sure wonâ??t.â??

Ryan is in his second year as coach of the Jets, and expectations are high after leading them to the playoffs last season. Even Namath said that talk of this yearâ??s team going all the way is â??justifiedâ?? because of the overall talent. Namath, who led the franchise to its only title in 1969, added that this yearâ??s team is â??the most legitimate contender weâ??ve had.â??

â??Iâ??m not embarrassed to say that I believe that will happen,â?? Ryan said. â??The great thing is we get to prove it soon. Thatâ??s the beauty of it.â??

The Jetsâ?? preseason opener is Aug. 16 against the Giants at the New Meadowlands Stadium, and they open the regular season at home against Baltimore on Sept. 13.

This is obviously one of my bold predictions for the year, but I still think it holds water. The Chargers have lost a lot, and the Raiders have gained a lot. Remember, the Chargers barely beat the Raiders in their opening game last year, should be very interesting this year.

I think Mcclain is a blessing both for their defense, and the franchise in general.

I also think Ryan Matthews is going to have a harder time adjusting than people think. He is an amazing athlete no doubt about it, but he played at Fresno State, not exactly a powerhouse in college football. In due time I think he’ll be a great player, but I don’t see him or Sproles supplying what LT did back in the day.

Man this fat fuck needs to shut up…wheres eric mangini when you need a quiet coach???

^ I like the bravado & the brashness, but as any Jet fan will tell you, we are pessimists at heart.

Remember the chargers were dreadful at the beginning of the year, they made Jamarcus the hutt look good! As for McClain I am reluctant to say big things about any rookie before they have played some games (including Eric Berry), too many players look great in college and are shite in the pros. I agree the bolts will take a step back but they are still good enough to win the division.

As for the J-E-T-S i hate the bastards and their beached whale coach. GO TOM BRADY!

Look its Al Davis a dirty smelly senile old cunt.
