yeah me too, fans can boo tell players that they suck and keep it to football things, any man that spits and spews racial epithets deserves a severe ass kicking

Here, I use to like you, too.

Sorry buddy, it just wasn’t meant to be.

Regarding the game last night… can’t really give the Bears a “win” for their performance, but rather the Packers a loss. 17 penalties… 3 INTs were called back with penalties. James Jones, (piece of shit,) can’t secure the ball in the most CRITICAL portion of the game. My Pack looked like a bunch of boys trying to play a man’s game… and yet the Bears still barely stoll a “W.”

I’m okay with Chicago fans thinking they have something special, it’s going to make it that much more entertaining when they crash and burn… hard.

I am with you 100%, but in situations like these it is always the player who gets in trouble, I hope Collins can change that trend

It will definitely be interesting to see how this is handled, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him get fined. The fans actions are totally inexcusable, but as a player in the NFL you simply have to hold yourself to a higher standard and let taunts like this roll off your back.

I can’t say I could’ve held myself to that standard, but as an athlete at the highest level you have to learn to handle situations like this, and realize deep down that there is a reason why your on the field and that jackass is sitting in the stands.

I think this would be the perfect situation to utilize your ‘posse’. Just have 'em roll up on this dude after work, beat the shit out of him in some corner or alleyway, and then brand him with the Green Bay Packers logo. You don’t get in trouble, and the dude will be the nicest person for the rest of his life.

^ Where are the cops when you need them to arrest the ass in the stands. WC I had asked on the previous page you think 49rs will be interested in Trent Edwards?

I actually trained with Edwards both this off-season and last (I’m a Stanford resident and this is where he lifts during the summer). He’s a great guy and very intelligent, but I don’t think he would be a good fit for the 49ers.

I actually think he is very similar to Alex Smith, as they are both extremely intelligent, but simply don’t have what it takes to be a starter in the NFL. Both QBs would make great backups, but I don’t see any reason for the 49ers to grab him, especially when we have Carr and Smith.

Cool when I heard yesterday you were the first person I thought about. Do you think firing the OC will help the offense for the 49rs?

I think it will definitely make a difference. Apparently the Cheifs were correctly calling out most of our offensive plays before we ran them last Sunday as a result of Rayes laziness which is never a good sign. So I am very glad that they gave Raye the boot.

I just don’t know how big of an improvement you can make though with Smith still holding down the QB spot. He doesn’t have what it takes to be a solid starter in the NFL. Hopefully improved play calling and better game planning will make a big difference, but I am not expecting us to look like the Saints on offense anytime soon.

I still think we can contend for the top spot in the NFC West, we just need to get our asses in gear, and doing so against the Falcons this week isn’t going to be easy.

^ Okay so where does Trent Edwards go? Browns? Carolina? Arizona? Seattle? Maybe he needs a warm weather dome spot and then he can grow as a QB? I mean Buffalo is not really the best place to develop anyway.

I think Browns would be a good fit to start, but likely he’ll just get signed as a backup somewhere.

I hope he goes to Arizona because Derek Anderson is absolutely killing Larry Fitzgerald’s production for my fantasy team. Or Carolina, because I’m having the same issue with Jimmy Clausen/Steve Smith.

That last point you made is really good, most of these guys could probably get something like that done for them too.

Yea I am with you, the players must always be in control of their actions.

I watched it, and it was pretty close. I think the change at QB put some new life into that team, and CJ Spiller really electrifies both their offense and their return game. They definitely outplayed their ability yesterday, but if they have another solid draft they could be a pretty decent team.
Does the Pats defense look shaky? Looking at the score looks like the Pats will have to outscore teams to win this year.
The Pats defense is’nt shaky overall, but the secondary has issues and will get picked on. As far as outscoring teams-
Brady
Moss
Welker
Edelman
Gronkowski
Hernandez
morris
Jarvis green-ellis
No problem

Not to be an ass, but what happened with the Jets? I have this fear with my team, going to a one dimensional team, all offense, no running game and weak defense. Again I did NOT watch the game so I am not giving my opinion, just asking from guys who watched the game.

So now that we are through week 3 (still too early) here are a few thoughts:
KC is 3-0? and running the ball well. Hmm
The Bears are 3-0? Granted they got pretty lucky yesterday but still
The Raiders still stink. Gradkowski is an improvement but he does’nt play O line and Al Davis has’nt died
And also drafted a receiver who apparently can’t catch
How about those Cowboys?-shaky.

Yeah they shredded a horrible defense, a wins a win though and they are better than the
Giants-Uh Oh! now you’re Done! Eli is back to being a Pick happy rube and the team is imploding
Redskins-Mcnabbs been good but they have holes
The Eagles are the best team in that division, and starting Vick was a good idea
The Jets look good right? Yeah, I’m a pat’s fan and they schooled us last week but mark my words

  1. They ARE going to implode. Yeah I said it

  2. they are not beating the Pats or Dolphins or even Bills twice

  3. Sanchez goes Dirty Sanchez and is inconsistent for a few games and they are done
Steelers winning ugly but winning-should’nt have issues
The Colts are the Colts-they find ways to win
Seattle is O-V-E-R-A-T-E-D. I live in the NW and hear it every year "the seahawks are going to win the division!) They may this year because it’s weak but they won’t get far. Aside from that superbowl they have been average to mediocre for 15 years
Green Bay-reminds me of the Patriots-talented but has issues.

In fact you could interchange some of positions on these teams
Carolina-done for this year
Better than generally rated
Atlanta-ok they are’nt rated badly but this is a good team
Tampa bay-may surprise you
Cinccinat1-can still get it done
A few question marks
Detroit- can they win more than one? three? four?

Who are the Texans
No seems to be talking about the Titans and they do have potential
who are the '49ers? there is ability there
Sooooo barely beat the 49er’s and lost to the Falcons…Who dey? It won’t be easy this year, but I think they still go to the superbowl. No, really
Who wins the AFC East Jets or Patriots? who gets more DUI’s Battery and Drug charges? Bills and Dolphins fan-sorry, not happening

Kickoff for TD, Patriots played unbalanced (repeatedly throwing to moss against cromartie who is 6’4 and physical. Did not work) The jets ran very good screens andd ran well, the Pats not so much and took some stupid penalties. This was a winable game make no mistake. Watch round
two. As for the Cowboys, when they have a pass rush and use it (which they do have), use the right ruNning back, and Romo gets a bit of protection they are a scary team. CONSISTENCY. GOOD TEAMS HAVE IT. One bad game doesnt mean shit. the Jets got owned in the first half, and made good adjustments, the Patriots i think went to simplistic and predictable in the 2nd. My opinion.

Honestly if you (Cowboys) can overcome a shaky start and handle the Eagles you win that division. The Giants stink and the Redskins have some offensive and defensive issues. Dallas has the talent to do it, questions is will they. I would’nt equate them to the Patriots because talent aside we have some secondary issues(inexperienced AND short)

Well, the game this week I really expected them to throw the ball 80 times. The Texans have the worst passing defense in the NFL and I was very happy with the balance that Dallas showed. I have no faith in our OC (if you have read the whole thread I have made many comments) and this week he at least stayed with a good game plan. My issue is when we are behind Garrett gives up on the run and goes all out passing. Potential dont mean shit not when you have teams that have obviously less talent but coaching and consistency has them winning.

That is an extremely underwhelming list of names outside of the top 3.

Gotta defend my Jets and wonder why you say with such certainty that the Jets will implode?

Hmmm Moss isnt happy, your secondary sucks balls, You have no running game, Kevin Faulk out for the year. Jets got owned in the first half? it was 14-10! How about 21 unanswered points? How about Cromartie blanking Moss. You shouldnâ??t worry about the Jets imploding, you should worry about the Pats and their primadonna WR imploding. Ill give credit where credit is due, and the Pats as much as I hate them are still a dangerous teamâ?¦.but you give the Jets no credit. The Pats couldnâ??t stop the fucking bills from scoring 30 pts last week, again the Pats have problems of their own
