Since we are on the AFC east kick here, did anybody watch the Bills/Pats game. I was watching my team finally get a win. By the box score looked like a very close game.

I watched it, and it was pretty close. I think the change at QB put some new life into that team, and CJ Spiller really electrifies both their offense and their return game. They definitely outplayed their ability yesterday, but if they have another solid draft they could be a pretty decent team.

Does the Pats defense look shaky? Looking at the score looks like the Pats will have to outscore teams to win this year.

Great game last night…both teams opened it up and there was a nice mix of running and passing.

 • Braylon Edwards, yes he is a knucklehead but is a real weapon, not reliable but is a WR that opposing DBs always have to worry about.

 • Matt Slauson is killing us, letting faneca go looks really bad right now. Even though the last holding call on the Sanchez TD run I though was BS…managements decision to leave that space occupied by two rookies (basically) is very odd.

 • Sanchez has been very very impressive these past two weeks. Athletic, showing poise and accuracy and a much stronger arm then given credit for. There was one instance where he had a white towel given to him and he got pissed off and just flung it and started barking out directives to the offense. It seemed small but to me it showed a side of Sanchez that you didnt get to see in hardknocks or how some perceive him as immature.

 • Kyle Wilson has to turn the FUCK AROUND! This rookie is getting killed this year.

 • Have to give credit where credit is due…BRANDON MARSHALL is amazing, and Henne aint as bad as I thought.

 • The national media has to recognize how much of a weapon Brad Smith is. extremely under the radar.

Im hoping the Jets dont look past the Bills next week, they may be 0-3 and have no real studs on offense but they are not a pushover
Can you mention any teams that aren’t in the AFC East?
No
Diversify your bonds, Matty. There are teams outside of the AFC East.
Lol, I kno I kno…I always seem to pull for the Cardinals? Im trying man. Man did they get away with one! Im officially off of the Derek Anderson band wagon…Jeff Garcia please.

Oh and I did not realize how good ATL can be…man turner and snelling looked great. Their D is underrated and Ryan the ageless wonder Gonzalez and Roddy White …

3-4 years from now they should be a top 5 D, until then… Ugh gonna be rough.

So yeah, they sorta suck, but are very young.

Beans you a Pats fan? Young Defenses always have those up and down games, makes it very frustrating.

I’m a Pats fan by default. I live in Boston (well around it.) I have to be it’s the only coverage I can get, lol.

Grew up a Giants fan, but can’t stand Eli or Coughlin.

I’m more of a football fan these days though. I just like to see good games, good plays, and route for the underdog.

I’m giving up on my 49ers for this year, we need a new OC and a new QB. At least by getting destroyed today we increase our changes of getting Luck or Mallet in the draft!

I am now officially adopting a team to root for for the rest of the season, suggestions?
You can’t go wrong with the Steelers. They have a really good shot at winning 4 or 5 games this year.

Besides the Boys I am the same way, just can’t seem to get enough of the game. I just route for anybody going against the other NFC East teams.

I am very disappointed in the Redskins. Just thought everyone should know. The first 10minutes were god awful and ruined my day.

Good thing we are still going to the Superbowl!!!11!!!

^ Not until they get some WR and an established running game.

Well said, Pittsburgh has had their share of pinheads over the years. I remember everybody and his brother laughing about how the Steelers were letting pro bowlers go left and right. It started (I think anyways) with Leon Searcy going to the Jags, they brought him along slowly, then he became a pro bowler and left after his rookie contract expired, thanks for the training Pittsburgh lol. It’s about money and I don’t hold a grudge at all, he was good and it sucked he left. Then Chad Brown did the same thing, Yancy Thigpen etc, it was bad for quit a few years.

Could be my homer imagination but they seem to hold onto guys longer now, maybe the salary cap helped, who knows.
Well, if you remember, when Chad Brown left, Greg Lloyd was supposed to be coming back from an injury that year. As we know, Lloyd wasn’t the same player when he returned, so that was a pretty big screwup, but at least we know why. When Lloyd was healthy, Brown had been one of the starting ILBs, but then Lloyd got hurt and Brown had a monster year at OLB in his absence.

OK, quick question: which starting LB corps would you rather have?

Greg Lloyd, Kevin Greene, Levon Kirkland, and Chad Brown

 • OR -

James Harrison, Lamarr Woodley, James Farrior, and Lawrence Timmons

THAT is a tough question to answer. I think if Farrior was still in his prime I would go with his group, but since he is nearing the end I have to go with the first group.
Greg Lloyd is my favorite Steeler player so I gotta go with the first group. Levon Kirkland was freak of nature, that guy could fly for a big dude, no other LB looked like him at the time. Kevin Green was insane, nuff’ said and Chad Brown could do everything.

I still haven’t seen any hilights from the game yesterday, I’m looking forward to seeing that big run by delicious, he has been awesome for me in FF.

WTF is wrong with Carson Palmer lol, love it!

Ravens run defence gets torched! lol, love it!

One more week then a bye and BB is back then…

Kevin Greene is my favorite player of all time. He channeled the power of Hulkamania when rushing the passer. Him and Lloyd together was just unfair.

Carson Palmer is an overrated cry-baby. He’s not an elite QB, he’s the biggest whiner in professional sports, tied with John Harbaugh. I’ve never seen two guys go through a box of tissues faster at a post-game press conference than these two little bitches.

If Pouncey can handle Ngata (I think he will hold his own but not dominate - yet), and Legursky starts for Essex, the Steelers should be able to run the ball on the Ravens. Not like they did against Tampa, but better than they have the last few years. I also need to point out that Spaeth and Miller have been much improved so far this year in their run blocking. We’ll see if that holds up against Suggs and Jarett Johnson, two guys that always give the Steelers outside running game fits.

I just hope Ben’s mentally prepared for the spotlight that’s going to be shining on him when he comes back.

49ers offensive coordinator was fired, QB coached (Mike Johnson) is replacing him.

O-rite Bears lets maul the fuck out of the Packers.

And NFL Redzone is amazing. Yesterday I didn’t move from my couch for 8 hours.

Isnt it? no commercials…it beats the fuck out of the Sunday ticket!

The Bears vs Packers game was a good one. Monday night doesn’t disappoint. I had a feeling the Bears were gonna get a big turnover, and they did and won the game. Packers way too many penalties, like 17 or 18?! Wtf…

Hey WC Trent Edwards is on the market, think 49rs will want him.

Packers FS Nick Collins was seen throwing an unknown object at a Bears’ fan while leaving the field following the Packers’ 20-17 loss.

Fox 6 Sports Milwaukee is reporting that Collins was provoked by a fan who spat his way and called him a racist expletive, promoting Collins to “go crazy” and “attack”. The station reportedly has video of the incident that can’t be shown until Tuesday due to NFL guidelines. Stay tuned for more. Sep. 28 - 12:56 am et

So a grown man reacted to another grown man spitting at him and calling him a racial slur. I’m on Nick’s side. That fan is a douchebag.
