Mario Hardesty…out for the year…ouch, Lendale White too (not that it matters)

Leftwich too. Though I think that makes everything easier on Tomlin. Dixon shoulda been named the starter weeks ago.

LOL Im moron number 2, I also think the cards will win the division in a close fight.
Matty I know you have said this, what are seeing that I am not, just asking. I am dying to talk football and this is my only outlet. I think their D is middle of the pack at 15-16 rank this year with what they have lost. The offense will have a running game and deep threat but will be inconsistent. They may rank 12-13 in O, I think 49rs beat them twice, Seattle takes a game at home, and they beat the Rams twice. Thats 3-3 in the division.
I love their offense. Period I think Anderson will have a good year and am a fan of breaston and doucett. I know their running game hasnt looked great, but am a big fan of wells. He runs hard and hightower is an excellent receiver. The addition of Alan Faneca (who all Jet fans must be wondering why he was released when his replacements are fucking getting sanchez killed) with this addition along with levi brown, I think they have an underrated OL.

I believe their defense will be good against the run and not as bad as people think against the pass, they still have guys like Kerry Rhodes, who is pretty good, Adrian Wilson is awesome. I guess besides the Jets, the Cards are my west coast team…I looked up their schedule and this is how I think it will go…Oh and I really like whisenhunt:

@STL W, @ATL L, OAK W, SD L, NO L, @SEA L, TB W, @MIN L, SEA W, @KC W, SF W, STL W, DEN W, @CAR W, DAL W, and SF L

10 - 6 First Place

Agreed…leftwich looks too much like Gary Coleman to be good

HaHaHaHa man I was thinking the exact same thing. As far as the Cards you are predicting the same thing in division except they will beat San Fran once. I dont know what they will do out of division. 4-2 in division may not win the division. If San Fran goes 5-1 with one loss to the Cards than they win the division.

Big Bens suspension reduced to four games YESSSSSSSSSSSS! Worst kept secret in the NFL.

Leftwich news is conflicting as to how severe the injury is to his knee, not good news to us Stiller fans.

Is it just me or is Fran Charles the most annoying talking head on NFL network. He’s like a human squeeze toy the way he talks TRYING to GET the MOST out of EVERY fucking WORD. I thought Suzy Kolber was bad.

Moose Johnston is my new favorite talking head, I could listen to him talk about football all day.

This top 100 football players that starts tonight sounds kinda dumb. I mean Joe Montana #1, Jim Brown #2, everything after that is just filler to me. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll watch every minute of it lol. My wife will have to leave the room though cause I’ll be doing alot of WTF is that guy doing at #10, he’s a bum!

Fuck me next thursday can’t get here fast enough, whining about announcers and programming is proof lol.
Hey man will the Steelers have a running game? Watched one of their preseason games and I am not really sold yet that they will. If they can establish a running game with that D, it is there only chance to break 500 for the first 4 games.
Every team is going to load the box for the first four games so It’s going to be a tough go early. Losing Willie Colon for the year was a big blow as well, he was a road grader for them who opened alot of running lanes. The should have better numbers on the ground this year than previous but I doubt we will see Bettis clock eating numbers. Mendy still has to protect the ball better. The dude can be a star but he loves the spin move which makes you vulnerable to getting it knocked loose imo.

However they are pretty deep with young talent at RB. Chris Redman and Jonathen Dwyer are really putting up solid numbers this pre-season.

I love a team that runs on first down, second down, third down…It’s boring to most but I love that kind of football.

Matty should know this, but I think Seattle will surprise some w/Leon in the back field. He can break one at any time. & don’t forget he is a hell’uva kick/punt returner. I’m sorry we traded him. Broken leg or not, he’s out to prove his worth. & if Tate even comes close to drawing the safety over, whoseyourmomma could be in for a good yr.

Re:Washington, that’s exactly why I took him in FF.

TJ, according to reports is being shopped by the Seahawks.

Totally agree, espescially with McKnight looking like crap. From what I have read, he looks like he will start over forsett and jones.

The 49ers were 2-0 against the Cardinals last year. The 49ers have only gotten better, while the Cardinals have lost a ton, including their most important players on both offense and defense (Warner, Dansby).

You have yet to cite any logical reason why you stand by your claim.

(Don’t take any of this personally, it’s all in the nature of good heated sports talk among gentleman)

LOL, I just told you,

I think the cards still have enough talent, especially in a weak division to win the division again. I know they lost Boldin, Rolle, Warner and Dansby, but they also gained Rhodes, Faneca and that kid Campbell who from what I read is gonna come into his prime. Their D LINE WILL BE EXCELLENT ESPESCIALLY AGAINST THE NINERS LOL! You guys are really not giving the players that have satyed on their team any credit, most notably Darnell Dockett and Adrian Wilson, and their first round pick whos a fucking monster.

I say they stay at 10 - 6 because their defense is much better than people think. I love Whisenhunt as a coach, and their offense even w/o warner will still be dangerous. Couple this with a weak division, am I really saying anything that crazy?

The red and gold, yes they are an up and coming team…but do they not have holes as well? Most glaringly do you have that much confidence in Alex Smith? You have an awesome RB. Your receivers are largely unproven…i.e. Morgan and Crabtree. Ted Ginn? Puhhhlease! B U S T!

Couple that with a largely unproven O Line! You guys are starting 2 ROOKS!

Up front on Defense I love you guys…but L-FITZ and Breaston will smoke your DBees!

Cards 10 - 6 Niners 8-8 (I lowered it one lol)

WC…how about a little wager…

I say the cards will have a better record than the niners. If Im wrong I will get you any thing on TNation $50 or under, and if I win you get me something from Tnation $50 or under. Same record, a push and no one wins.

Bet?

I’m game to wager, but don’t really want to be giving out my mailing address. How about winner decides losers avatar for a month?

Internet Pride FTW!

I’m glad we made this interesting. Now I’m going to have to try to trade away all the Cardinals that I own in fantasy.

~

Thoughts on VJAX and Revis? Apparently both might not see the field at all this year, which would be a true shame. I’d love to see Jackson go to the 'Skins.

Anybody see Dixon’s run last night against the Chargers? For a stacked 245 pounder he can really move~

I read today that Revis may never be a Jet again. Listening to uncle Shawn Gilbert is a HUGE mistake.
